Yo yo, the way you explain headrush - I used to have this too. With me I think it was a sort of panice attack. Suddenly I would feel floored and about to keel over.
6ftblonde, I got PNI after my 2nd child and it started when he was 4mths old. After a really exhausting week a blood vessel burst in my right eye (which disappeared over night) and I got this pressure around my right eye, which wouldn't go. AFter a couple of weeks I started to feel spaced out as if I was deep in side myself. Then I got headaches, dizziness and something with my eyesight changed. I thnk now it was as if I cound't focus, my eyesight deteriorated and I got doubel vision. I had no energy whatsoever. I was v anxious, couldn't sleep, eat. used to cry all day. I got these numb patches all over my body especially arms and legs. They'd change place almost on a daily basis. I had permanetn tonsilitis for a few mths, sore throats etc. I'm sure I had other symptoms, but can't think of them right now.
AFter about 4 mths, I started on anti ds. I think the dr put me on them to help with my mood as she said herself the physical symptoms were odd. AFter about 2-3 weeks, my mood lifted. although the physical symptoms were there, I didn't swellk on them and the spaced out feeling went and I started to sleep again.
To be honest, the physical stuff, was the last to go. I tried acupuncture, which was amazing. The pressure lifted overnight and for the first time in 6mths I felt well.
now I still get run down easily. All it takes is a few days wihtoug proper sleep and the symptoms return but aren't as bad as they were for instance, the pressure round my eye and now I seem to have achy joints, which always seem to start when I'm tired and can take a while to go.
Basically when I was having the trouble with my eyes, I went to the opticians ([pressure was normal), 3 different eye clinics and an opthalmist (do do with squints) and all said that everything was fine. The blood tests I had were all normal. I was referred to a ENT specialist and had a ct scan of my sinuses. They were clear.
Basically no one has put any of my symptoms down to PNI or hormones followign my sons's birth. But it does seem more than just a coincidence.
soz to waffle on but I hope that helps. How are you today
