Okay I thought this would be a good way to cheer people up and find out a bit more about people? I listen to radio one alot and they do a feature called rocks and sucks. You have to say one thing this week or day that Sucked and one that rocked. At least then we can all see that good things do happen. You have to put one thing that Rocked and if nothing sucked well thats FAB! Okay...... This week it rocked that I met up with some friends and made a new friend in my area It sucked that my little boy lost half an ounce Okay you guys next! ;D

What a great idea for a thread.
For me ... rocks - my little lad getting over his cold and being dead cuddly with me when I was feeling ill. Sucks - work has been bonkers and tribunal looming.

I like this thread! ;D
What/ who rocks (in no particular order):
My husband (and sex with him) / close friends/ family/ ‘you lot’ and of course my 2 little tinkers – they are very cute! My boss, lol! But she is my ‘Angel’ Good music My therapist My colleagues (well some of them..) Good books Trashy mags Dancing Baileys and hot choccie Technology – Internet and Digital cameras in particular Kids Young people Good food Fine wine Any form of beauty treatment from ‘hair do' to pedicure, sheer luxury I got a great chest after having kids – yeah I love it Hugs, love, laughter and talking/ writing
What sucks (as before):
Need I say it, PNI..lack of knowledge about it and abuse too… and the effects When your partner never empties the bin when it’s overflowing or always forgets baby milk and nappies when he does the supermarket shop (and anything else on the list)!! Having to go to work Getting out of bed and trying to get to sleep at night Hospitals Can’t give anyone a hug on here when I feel like it I love cookery programmes so much, but I just can’t cook. I didn’t get a Take That ticket and Angel did (lol!)

Hiya Emily, Did you hear the newsbeat thing about pni, that was me! lol
Ok, what rocks!? Thea telling me I'm a good mummy and that she loves me, Thea loving GJ so much she's turned into a lil mother hen, GJ thinks Thea is the best thing since sliced bread! Alan not going out so much, Thea doing so well at school, me studying to be counsellor, this site!
What Sucks? Me been diagnosed as been allergic to dairy, gluten and wheat! I live for chocolate! GJ not sleeping through, the HV accusing me of overfeeding her when I'm not!

Great thread: I think I'll stick to this week otherwise I will just write too much . Rocks: That finally I made a decision and had an operation, that while it will mean being unable to do much for many months while the bone fuses, that I have a chance in the future of being more mobile and leading a more normal life than I have been able to since the accident How caring my husband has been and how well he is looking after a wife who can do little more for herself than make it to the loo slowly and on crutches but happy that is is not so long now till I get my second and full plaster cast on Tuesday. Sucks: Pain and boredom of being in the same room in the same position hour after hour day after day - and big brother finishing so I cant even have a laugh with others who are in relative prison too! They got out - I didn't That when I get my plaster I still wont be able to put weight on it for another month at least !! Veritee PS I could also add my food intolerance too if I was doing more than a week at a time on this thread as this is an everyday 'suck' due to the things i can not eat - I know what its like Susanne as I can't have cheese at all which I love, yogurt , milk does affect me but not as drastically, but usually I drink soya but also the worst is any whey which makes me so sick, which if you read the packets are in most ice cream, many bakery products, the cheaper chocolates and chocolate cakes , even some crisps. So there is quite a lot of things that Susanne cant eat that I can not either - but for a different intolerance. But the 'Rock' side of this is since I found out all the foods that were making me ill about 10 years ago now - I feel just so much better physically and do not spend hours being sick and on the loo as I used to. Our patron was recently diagnosed to have gluten intolerance. Is yours an allergy i.e rapid onset of symptoms such as hives , runny nose, sneezing, rapid heart rate, breathlessness, vomiting Diarrhoea migraine psoriasis etc or intolerance - less rapid reaction afer eating, more insidious poor health and illness: can also include violent vomiting migraine, diarrhoea but not usually hives & breathlessness, or fast heart rate . Just interested as I have this intolerance all my life but found no help for it until 10 years ago . wrote more than I intended yet again - its because I am able to do noting else at presetn so when I write on here I write loads - hope this is OK

(which is crap because the way i'm employed at the mo, i never get used as a driver!!)
