Hi all, How nice of you all to remember! I can barely remember to put my undies on let alone when people start work. You are all so supportive and have got me through SOOO much.
Well, work going great - with a few blips. Good bits are being clean and not having sick on shoulder all day, talking to adults, driving to work listenning to the radio, thinking about proper things - not Ben 10 (for anyone with a 4 year old boy, you will understand).
Bad bits, had to take today off because LO is ill and couldn't go to nursery (ooops), I have to go to Germany on Tues for 4 days!! How do they think I will manage that with 2 kids. Anyway, it's sorted and my mum is moving in with my hud for the week.
So, all in all quite good. Have spent lots of money on new clothes and have my eye on a handbag. All stuff I would never have cared about a few months ago.
How are you 2 doing Bobyn and Anita?
Take care

Hi Rachel, Going back to work has been interesting for me to say the least. My maternity cover is a very, very lovely person but ridiculously disorganised, which I didn't find out until I returned on Monday. Since then I've worked every evening until 9pm (my cut-off point and I know I don't function properly to work after then) trying to sort out the mess of the records she's left. It makes no sense to me, clearly she ignored my beautifully coloured flowcharts and made it all up herself for 9 months with no supervision LOL. Oh well, I'm on timesheet so the overtime will come in handy! Very jealous of your Germany trip. Have a great time. Bobs x

My job isn't exciting at all. I am OK about the duty free bit but a bit fed up at how much organisation this is going to need to make sure life doesn't fall apart at home!
Bobyn, that sounds like a nightmare. Are you OK working such long hours? You must be shattered. I guess if you are getting overtime, it's not so bad.
Great to hear from you all. I guess it will all be full of ups and downs, just hope that there are more ups than downs.
