OK so I said I would put some of the recipes I had on here when I got the time so here goes, the books that I got them from are called The Baby and Toddler Cookbook and Meal Planner. I also used Lorraine Kelly's Baby and Toddler Eating Plan.
The best way i found to keep baby food was to freeze it in ice cube trays then once they were frozen i would put them in a freezer bag and label what the puree was and the date it was made.
FIRST STAGE EATING
Baby Rice Apple Puree Pear Puree Carrot Puree Potato Puree Parsnip Puree Swede Puree
The way I used to make these puree's was just to boil the vegetables in a saucepan remembering not to put any salt in the water and then when they were soft I used a food processor to liquidize adding formula (or breast milk if your still breast feeding) to make the right consistency. With the fruit I just stewed the fruit still it was soft. The only thing with the fruit was that my health visitor advised me to add a little bit of sweetener as apples and pears can both be a little sharp for babies.
Once my little one had started getting used to the different flavors I started giving her a mixture of say two different ones like potato and carrot together.

NEXT STAGE
Once your baby has got used to those new flavors you can start adding in other flavors. This first recipe was one of mine and Molly's favorites.
Turkey Stew
6oz potato 6 oz carrot 4oz turkey breast (skinned and boned) 2oz frozen sweetcorn 1/2 pint formula/breast milk
Chop all ingredients into small cubes and place in a saucepan with the sweetcorn and the milk. Simmer for 20 minutes or until the turkey is cooked and the vegetables are soft. Puree the mixture to the right consistency for your little one. I used that recipe for nearly a year just making it more lumpy as Molly was tolerating different consistencies.
Chicken and Parsnip puree
12ox parsnips 4oz chicken breast 1/2 pint formula/breast milk
Chop all ingredients into similar sized cubes and place in a saucepan with the milk cook for 20 minutes and then puree to right consistency.
Fisherman's Pie
12oz potato 4oz brick frozen skinless cod 1oz frozen peas 1oz frozen sweetcorn 1/2 pint formula/breast milk
Chop potato's into even sized pieces and place into a saucepan with the fish, peas, sweetcorn and milk bring to the boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Once its cooked lift out the fish and break into pieces with a knife and fork checking for any small bones. Puree and whole mixture including the fish to the right consistency.
Fruit Salad
1 peach 1 desert apple 1 ripe pear 1oz fresh/frozen strawberries
Peel and core all the fruit and place into a saucepan of water for 10 minutes till the fruit is soft then puree to the right consistency.
All these recipes can be made and then frozen so that it make life easier for you.

Toddlers
My little ones both like this.
Shepherd’s Pie
Need:
I onion very finely chopped Whatever veg. your kids like, finely chopped – for mine I use broccoli and whatever I have in/ flavour of the month etc. (guess it should be pepper and mushroom, but they are not keen…) bit of oil 450g minced beef (lean) 250ml chicken stock
Topping 450g potatoes 15g butter 50ml milk
Do:
Fry the onion + veg until soft/ brown the mince separately and then quickly blend to make a bit less ‘stringy’/ add meat to onion + veg and stir in chicken stock/ simmer for 20 mins
Make mash potatoes as topping and then spread over the meat and cook at 180 for 10 mins/ maybe brown under the grill if time
Serve with ketchup!

Homemade 'PIZZA'
Place 4 beef tomatoes in a jug of hot water- remove skins and de-seed. Chop.
Lightly fry finely chopped mushroom, spring onion, fresh basil. Add tomatoes and simmer for further 2 mins. Add sweetcorn.
Split muffins in half and warm under the grill. Add tomatoe mixture and let kids add their own toppings - ham, cheese, sweetcorn, mozarella, grated cheese etc.
Grill for further 2 mins and enjoy!
