Hiya My daughter was 1 on 16th April and she only has 2 bottom front teeth which she has had since Oct last year! Will she ever get any more? I don't really care but other people seem to think this is strange Is she destined to a life of only 2 teeth? xx

Hi , lol! I found the back ones that came later gave me the most grief ??!! My friend gave me this tip: try rubbing some whiskey on their gums when they get bad with their teeth - if this doesn't work then neck the whiskey yourself and turn the monitor down and have a capful of night nurse. It did make me laugh at the time, although must say, despite being tempted, never tried it

My big sons first teeth didn't cut until he was 13 months. I never knew when he was cutting teeth as he was a very calm baby, just saw them when they had popped through. He has a full set now I'm glad to say, (he's 10 )

Caterina
My daughter got her 2 bottom teeth at about 7 months. She will be one next week and her 2 top ones have just come through (and my god did we know about it!). I am hoping for her that the side ones are less painful than the front ones, for her and for me!

Hiya winegirl Try the whiskey and night nurse trick!! Like I said, I'm not hugely fussed about her having teeth but she's been having teething signs for AGES and I'd like to say to well meaning people, Yes, she bloody well does have some more teeth!!!!! She's a wilful little madam and will get them in her own good time, (she gets her stubborness from her mummy! Thrawn for the Scots among us!) I'm actually also convinced that she CAN walk, she just doesn't! As long as she continues to sleep through the night I don't mind when she gets them! xx

! BTW, Night Nurse is also handy for ensuring that unwanted dinner party guests leave on time instead of staying REALLY late, depsite you yawning, looking at the clock, commenting that you have a busy day ahead... etc. Just pour a double NN an ice - it tastes a bit like a liquer??!!
