WG, we were very good and only took a small amount of cash with us so we'd only have 2 or 3 drinks each. And I only had 2 bags of nuts. But I was NOT good at the weekend and was convinced I'd put on weight. However ...
... official WI today and I've lost 1lb! Don't know how, as I had chips, cake and chocolate and alcohol last week. Must have not gone over points each day by too much.
So now 1lb more to lose before I've lost 1 1/2 stone. Can't wait to treat myself.
Some people have said to me I shouldn't expect to get back to pre pregnancy weight once I've had a baby, including my GP, but I disagree. Since all my weight gain is due to meds, why shouldn't I lose it and get back to 'normal'? If I don't do it, it'll just make me resent the illness and the meds even more.
New Stats:
Height: 5ft 3 Starting weight: 12st Current weight: 1ost8 Goal weight: 8st7 Current BMI: 26
Weight to lose: 49lb Weight lost so far: 20lb in 13 weeks

Well done Natasha...you are doing really well.
We have a friend who is a boxer so very up on nutrition. He said that if you eat really healthily all week and then eat something crap your body will reject it. I guess that means it goes through you quicker so the calories can't stick to you!
Keep up the good work x

Ah WG thanks - I have never been referred to in that way before.
That's an interesting fact Larsbars from your boxer friend. I wouldn't say that my diet is very healthy to be truthful, it's just that I don't go over my allowed calories and fat content each day. I still eat rubbish. In fact, during pregnancy was the only time I have really been heathly - I used to crave fruit all the time, and to keep the all day sickness at bay I ate loads of grilled chicken and veg for dinner. Should really do more of that sort of thing now.
Not been good at work today as it is a colleagues birthday which means cakes and crisps and peanuts! And I have indulged. Naughty me. I was so good at the beginning of joining WW, now I'm getting a bit complacent. I really must buck my ideas up.

Oh no, I have been very bad for the last two days and not tracked my points. Ooops. Definietly went over today, as I've had two lots of chocolate and two packets of crisps and sausage sandwiches! What was I thinking.
Well must be good for the next 3 days to redeem the situation so I won't have put weight back on come Monday. Tut tut.

Hmmm, yes and I am ashamed to say I put on 2lb. Not pleased and I am usually so good. I was only 1lb away from 1st 1/2, but now I've got 3lb to go before I get there. But I didn't track what I ate last week and I know I went over my points allowance. I will have to be good this week, but because I'm going away for a week on Saturday I won't be able to weigh in for 2 weeks. I just hope I can lose the 3lb by then. I am amazed at how easy it was to put the weight back on, not pleased about that.
How did you get on?

Well done, that's so much better than me.
Got on the scales today and the 2lb gain has gone, but could be a fluke. Will have to wait and see till next week.

Going to weigh in on Saturday morning, as I'll be on hols on Monday and it's probably a bit obessive to pack the scales in the car!
Got in scales again and 3lb off so I'm on the right track. Gone over points by 2 since Monday, but I could make up for that over 2 days. Was so tempted to go to bakers today and get a sticky bun but I didn't - although did have 2 ginger nuts at Mum's, not so good. No idea how many points they are, but never mind.

Right, last Saturday before holiday I had lost the 2lb and 1lb more so was at 10st7. Came back off hols and did WI this morning and I am 10st8, so 1lb on. Boo hoo, although not at all surprising since I didn't stick to the diet at all while away and ate loads of bad stuff. Plus it was TOTM.
So here are the latest stats:
Height: 5ft 3 Starting weight: 12st Current weight: 1ost8 Goal weight: 8st7 Current BMI: 26
Weight to lose: 49lb Weight lost so far: 20lb in 16 weeks
Which means for the last 3 weeks I have gone no where weight wise - I've put on and lost it, then put on again. Can't believe it since in 3 or 4 weeks I can usually have lost half a stone. So this week it is back to business and I will be ultra good. I really want to be slim again.

They do they that you lose at the beginning then sort of stick for a while before losing again?? You could be going through this??

Yeah, WG, that could be it, although the weeks I've put on I have not done weight watchers properly, not counted by points and eaten bad stuff so it's really my fault.
I am just surprised that it is so easy to put back on and I can't blame the meds now, unless they have drastically altered the way my body burns calories now or maybe it was having a baby that did it. I used to be able to eat what I want without putting on weight - it's so depressing having to watch what you eat all the time.

I think having a baby alters your metabolism also..
Pre-pregnancy i would eat what i wanted when I wanted and never get above 8 - 8 and half stone. These days I only have to look at a pack of crisps and I am screwed.
Having spoken to many women after having babies they have felt the same...
