Well monday heralds the start of my diet. I know its not a massive weight to some but I currently weigh 9st 7 and want to get down to 8st (8 and half at most but rather be 8) again as that was what I weighed pre-pregnancy and whilst I was breastfeeding.
My aim is to eat healthily and cut out all the rubbish, do the wii fit 5 days a week, swim twice a week, gym once a week and hopefully weather depending go for a long bike ride every week.
I always lose motivation pretty quickly so any encouragement would be greatly appreciated.

Right, if you can do all that excercise every week, i am gonna have to step up a gear i think! There is no excuse for me struggling to get to the gym 3 times a week when you have a training regime like Paula Radcliffe!
Right behind you mate x

Hi Shell, you'll lose that weight in no time if you exercise like that and cut down your calories. I have lost 1st 5lb in 12 weeks with very little exercise, so you can do it too. I too would like to be 8st7 as that was my usual weight till I ballooned on anti-pyschotics. Am hoping to get there by Christmas. I wish I had your motivation for exercise but to be honest I really hate it, unless it's bike riding or walking. I bought a pilates dvd for dummies but have only done it once! How bad is that? I think I'll just stick to pushing a 2stone toddler round in his pushchair for now. Good luck.

You sound like you're doing well, especially with exercise. Sorry to hear you were upset yesterday - how do you feel today?
Just something to think about - make sure you eat enough each day so that your body doesn't go into starvation mode and store fat. I tried the slimfast diet before I did weight wathcers and I didn't lose anything for 4 weeks because apparently I wasn't eating enough, and I must admit I was hungry on that diet. Would never do that again.

Feeling a bit better today - more angry than upset now! Ive eaten a bit more today but still not sure it has been enough. Breakfast: 2 slice toast with Jam Dinner: Quorn Turkey and Salad Sandwich with a peach and banana Tea: Quorn Spaghetti Bolognese Ive done ok cutting down on tea too - only had 2 cups and been drinking plenty of water which is amazing for me as I hate water! I dont know whether I should see about any vitamin supplements because I am veggie and not getting certain things that are in meat? ? Going to get on Wii Fit tonight after my friend has been! And doing the gym tomorrow night. Shell xxx

Hi Shell
If you are a veggie you need to be looking for extra protein.. this can be found in other foods too like nuts etc..

Hi Shell,
Well done on your food today. It looks like the sort of amount that I would eat. I'm not sure sure if it is the right amount or not though!!
I really wish that we had a Wii fit but we can't really justify buying one at the moment. I did have a long walk today so hopefully that has made up for it.

Yesterday wasnt too good - I ate healthily enough (except I missed my tea which wasnt good) but then I bumped into my fried who enticed me to have a drink with her in Wetherspoons. I said I would only stop for one but got there at 4pm and never left til 10.30pm - Oops! Although I didn go swimming yesterday morning so figure at least I did exercise.
Not eaten much todat - cheese adn sald pitta and some fruit for donner and about to have Jacket Potato with Beans and Cheese for tea with more fruit! The off out tonight for another friends hen night but I am determined not to drink tonight.
