Hi everyone
We here at PNI ORG UK have been wanting to update the website for a while now.
The reasons we want to do this are to give it a fresh look, to allow staff to update information / news / events etc and to make sure newcomers can find the information they need easily and quickly.
Over the last couple of months we have been getting the new site ready and we are now nearly there!
How will this affect you?
In short, it won't! Our hope is that it will make your visits to the site better and will enhance the way you can use it, certainly not make it difficult x
To break the changes down:
• The site will be easier to use / find your way around
• The site name will remain the same ( www.pni.org.uk )
• Forum Changes:
- The ONLY changes you will see to the forum are visual i.e. colours. How you use the forum and how it works WILL NOT change.
- All the information we have on the forum, all the old topics etc will remain although we may remove unused boards or add new one's over time etc
- A link to the forum will be on the top menu as it is now... so if you mainly use just the forum, you will be able to get to it just as easily
• Links - There will be a link to our Facebook and Twitter pages if you want to follow us there. Please note that our Twitter is there to raise awareness of PNI, we don't discuss any forums topics there so please don't worry
I must stress that the site is just going to be freshened up but how we all use it is NOT changing. We aren't doing anything we didn't already do but we are just making sure that we have everything in order and up to date.
We will give you all notice of when we will be launching the new site but I wanted to give you all an update.
Please rest assured that this is still our site - A community of women (and men) supporting each other and our families through this awful illness. Just because we are updating the look of the site, it doesn't mean the site is changing - hope that makes sense?
It's an exciting time here at PNI ORG UK, we hope you are excited too!
Please let us know if you have any concerns or worries but please don't worry as you will love it
Thanks
