Hey Steph,
Just wanted to say it's completely normal and natural to go forward then back with this illness (just read my diary up and down like a yoyo) however the overall trend is you will get slowly but surely better. I know that awful feeling of "oh no I'm back to square one" but your not honestly it's just the snakes and ladders of this illness. You'll get there xx

Thank you for you support ladies, it means so much. I too agree that ups and downs are part of this illness and its all part of my journey but downs can just be a little too overwhelming at times. Bloody hormones and periods, I need a few months off I think!! Hoping for a more positive week this week, wish me luck!

Had a good day yesterday and an ok week, wobbles here and there but feel like I'm getting back on track a little more. Trying to rationalise as I did before and found talking to my hubby a few nights ago helped get a lot of anxiety out. Counselling went well last night and she commented on how bubbly I seemed so that's a positive Irrational thoughts can do what they will, I know who I am and they will not defeat me this week!!

Pleased to say I have had a really positive few weeks Things are still tough at times or certain situations but have managed to brush thoughts off a lot better when they appear and just relax my body more so I don't react with too much anxiety as that's what keeps the spiral going. Dropped my CBT/counselling sessions down to fortnightly instead of weekly so feeling braver and hoping things really are starting to get better. Feeling a little wobbly today but think that's a mixture of 'that time of the month', hubby on nights and the aftermath of emotions after a special occasion. Makes you reflect I guess. Been very busy at work which has helped I guess but don't want to add to my stress levels but enjoying it so that's good. We celebrated my gorgeous little man's 2nd birthday yesterday, we had such a lovely day and the silly thoughts steared clear for most of the day we took him to Peppa Pig world and he loved evey minute bless him. Such a lucky mummy to be blessed with such amazing children. Off to relax and watch X Factor, truly wishing you all a positive, happy week xx

Had a bit of a rubbish start to the morning today, been home with kids all weekend while OH has been working so been a little edgy. Fed up of worrying about the next thought or differcult situation I may have to deal with! Had a good cry in the car on the school run which has releived a little stress. Guess I'm just feeling a little drained again trying to battle with the illness and the normal motherhood juggling challenges, felt like a bit of a robot over the weekend, feeding, cleaning, shopping, running around while trying to enjoy time with children etc etc.
Anyway, choosing to turn things around today and enjoy my day, have some playdates with my little man and determined to have a good day, anxiety can hitch a ride (in Jess' words) but its not going to trick me or control me!

Life as a mum is can be manic and quite monotonous rushing around and it's quite normal to have days like you do when it all gets a bit too much. I think with pni being stressed and feeling down can mmake u feel that bit lower. Things will pick up. Can feel rhose positive vibes coming off you. Hope you enjoy the weekx
