Well done K for surviving the weekend when your oh was on nights. The anxiety is crippling at times but we try to overcome it. Need to speak to hubby tonight about Felix staying next week. Why is it that relationships are so hard with pni? Once I got ill I couldn't cope with my marriage. It is like I don't have enough in my emotional reservoir to cope with hubby and Felix.

Ru having F next week? Have fun!
I think we all have a limit on emotional capacity and this illness takes up so much of you there is little left to give to anyone else or indeed anything else.My relationship plummeted when i was really ill.
You are really making progress RB. It might feel unbearably slow at times with many ups and downs. Hopefully when u feel stronger you can maybe try to build up the relationship if thats what u want to do, but at times you do need to give yourself space to heal rebuild ur strengthx

Really enjoying my time with little man. He is so interactive now that he is walking and talking. Feeling so much more relaxed than I have in months. Using Cbt at times when I need it but overall having fun :-)

Life is good with Felix at the moment. Enjoying sunny days and time with my boy. I feel much braver and have been out and about doing things that would normally terrify me. Going to the shopping centre, braving the supermarket even when a tantrum happens. Driving longer distances to see friends. It feels wonderful ☀️

So just going through another hopefully little blip. Intense week with seeing ex after three months. It was all fine but emotionally quite exhausting. Then have had tummy bug for last four days and also Felix has been poorly. It is just frustrating and upsetting how quickly my mind goes into meltdown mode. Everything is going so well and then I freak out. I would just like to not be such an emotional roller coaster. Also I have got a meeting at school tomorrow about returning to work. I thought I was fit and well enough to be going back to work in the next month. Now I really am not sure if I am still so wobbly. I can't afford to get really poorly again by doing too much but work have been so tolerant over the last year. Surely they will sack me now!!

Hey
You've had a busy week emotionally and physically with bug - whilst it's taken its toll you've been doing so well so don't let it knock ur confidence. Play it by ear re work - when I went back I did say that I was unsure how I'd react in certain situations so at least could be prepared to adapt if it was necessary. Maybe you could do the same?
Even though ur doing brilliant blips are part of the illness but in actual fact perhaps they're getting easier to manage?
X
