Lack of sex drive

I think this is starting to drive my poor boyfriend mad, I think it's been about 8 weeks and then only because I felt guilty for saying no all the time!

Any tips?

The trouble is that a lot of the medication lessens your sex drive anyway.

But I had the same thing but I took no medication.

I really have no tips though. I did do it now and then because although my husband was undemanding and seemed to understand - I just felt now and then it was not fair and if I was in his position I would have taken it worse than him.

I did not feel abused by doing it just for him - because I did still love him so I did it because of this.

I now am back enjoying it -

But I am not suggesting you do what I did - it is an individual choice

I'm not on medication either, I don't intend to go on it either if I can help it. I've talked to him about it, and he said he understands it's not me doing it, it's my brain, and that I can't control it.

ah the lack of sex drive,
i just lost it altogether to be honest and even now its slow in its return and i have to grab the moment.
Its just our hormones hunny and no reflection on your relationship.As long a he is patient it will be ok.

what can i say but yep

i do think that lack of sleep doen't help in the early stages and then theres the effort after having a toddler climb all over you, (or was that mu hubby!!!)

i have to say that mine is finally coming back however in bouts which is worse for hubby as he really doesnt know if hes coming or going (so to speak)

My sex drive is a bit crap too I have only done it once in 12 weeks , not sure if this due to PNI or having a new baby and I not yet back on contreception so also dont want any accidents.

mel after i had all my baby's sex was the furthest from my mind. i was still sore from all three episiotomys so it was a no go area im afraid.
but yes babies also put a halt to things.when we did finally get jiggy with it you could have bet a million quid on the fact that any of mine as babies new mum and dad were at it and would cry.so unlike a man who can turn themselves on and off like a light switch we poor souls have a hard time getting it up after feeding,changing bums,rocking back and fore..........kind of dampens the ol libido i found and i was always keeping one ear open for any kiddy movements.sad but true. now with me working nights its even harder to find quality time.its a case of grab it when you can in our house.

but you hit the nail right on the head with the listening for baby noises and if you hear then turn over that it for me but for hubby he will just keeping going!!!

it can be worse now that ethan sleeps in a big bed as he can get out of it

me too veritee. i do my best to get him interested. i still had my normal(high)sex drive all the time i was pregnant or after the birth of our baby but my partner thought we couldn't while i was pregnant and now still doesn't seem to want to. i've done everything to let him no i still want to but i'm lucky to get a cuddle from him these days!

My mate has just started taking horny goat weed, its a herbal tablet that increases your sex drive, she told me that she has been like a bitch on heat ;D Maybe try that? My sex drive is ok, at the moment!

god i so know what you mean its been to long to remember when the last time me and my partner was intimate.
if i did feel up to it i am always tired any way so at the moment sex is the last thing on my mind
