Hey Girls, Ijust wanted to ask if anyone else is really enjoying their sex life at the moment. I don't know what it is, but ever since Brett and I got married, it feels like its just so good now. We seem to both enjoy it alot more and always make time for it. Is anyone else the same?? Alot of my mummy friends say they just dont have time anymore...but i always find we make time, which we both think is very important in maintaining our relationship! Well I enjoy mine - in fact it has always been me who usually initiates it - and I miss the sex big time when he is working away .
My sex drive is usually always there but I suppose looking back there was a time when I had PNI for about a year or perhaps even two when my libido was much depressed
- memories do fade but I can remember that for a time I was completely disinterested and we did not have sex for about 5 months after the birth as B would never ask unless he thought I was up for it, so I guess it did not happen very often
but this has never stopped me enjoying it when we did even if I felt I had no interest.
but after that it was fine .
In fact for me sex has always been a comfort when things are not going well or even when I am ill- I think it is one of the reasons we still have a good marriage despite all we have been through.
So you make the most of it Natalie.
I am so glad this part of your life is going well, as I agree it is very important in a marriage

Awwwww your posts sound like your on a high at the moment hunni. I'm so glad your happy.
I've never really had a high sex drive. And we don't actually have 'sex' very often, we much prefer the gentler fore play side of things, we find a lot more pleasure from that. I'm glad your making time, we tend to snatch the odd moment here and there!

I wanted to say that i aree its great that you are enjoying your sex life. i guess i'm a bit like susanne my sex drive isn't very high but we do make the most of it when i do feel in the mood. So i say go for it girl.

well i have to admit that sex is about as high on my priority list as painting the outside window sills and then watching them dry.
Sorry but my mrs pooky has left the building a long while ago and sex has been non existant.Since my "recovery" i have just seem to have lost it completly.
Ah well at least i dont have to suffer the damp patches to sleep in anymore girls ha ha

Finally I've noticed I'm starting to enjoy the odd shag for the first time in ages. We actually did it 3 times this week, which feels like a record, and I actually really enjoyed it and instigated it. I'm sure the antids and PNI in general had dampened my enthusiasm, not to mention, tiredness.

Monica i know what you mean by three times seems to be a record, we're back to the 3 times a week (at least lol) and it does feel like a record lol Francoise...we had one of THE best sessions the other night (i actually even took control for a while lol which i dont normally do lol) and yes it was ace too |
