i thought i would start a new thread so your questions wouldnt get lost in the other thread.

i also have a 4.5 mth old daughter and once again after her birth the thoughts came. i just want to encourage you that with the right combination of medication & counselling the thoughts can become less intrusive and you will feel stronger.

try not to allow them to run your life but just let them come and go.

i cant tell how they have been the worst thing about this illness for me, apart from all the other terrible things but i can tell you from my despair comes hope, hope that you can get rid of them, though slowly at first ,

i remember some months back reading this as i searched for anything that could help me to know i wasnt going crazy , i wasnt a bad mum ,and now mths later i am helping you so keep your hope,

know how much your family needs you so get all the help you need now so the future will be brighter.

i agree with lucy kelly and the fact that your baby is very young to , mine is the same age and its only this week that i have really improved , but i swear to you a few weeks ago noone could of convinced me that those thoughts would stop happening to me, they do go though hun , take care and keep talking...... love fran
