:'(Thought I'd add my symptoms and see if anyone else has had similar, my baby is 12wks old and my 5th, I've never had pni before, after a horrendous pregnancy and tramatic birth after pre eclampsia she was born at 32 wks and is well now, I went of to the doctors having a panic attack and palpitations, when she asked me how I was coping with the baby I burst out crying, and realised I wasnt, I have had ecg and echo cardiograph convinced I had something wrong with my heart, all came back fine, I also have days where I cry and cry for no particular reason, feel light headed, cant concentrate, forgetful, no appetite, exhausted although I sleep ok, blurred vision, no motivation and dont enjoy the things I usually do, have good days or parts of the day where I feel almost normal and other days where I'm a mess and I have times where I cant go to the shopping centre or drive a car, this all started 3 weeks ago, and I must admit I am starting to have more days where I feel ok, would love to hear from anyone else with these experiences

Hi Karen Welcome to the sitex Reading your post was like reading one of mine from 2 years ago. The panic attacks, palpitations, ECG, heart scan etc (had this done a few times), concentration, very light headed (as if about to faint constantly), motivation, up and down like crazy... ''times where I cant go to the shopping centre or drive a car''That was me too. Yes the good days get better and more frequent, but it is such a hard thing to deal with, I found, with young children to look after I was shocked to find so many other ladies going through the same when I found this site - I hope you find is as helpful as I have . Thinking of you Hopefulx

I seem to be having better days as long as I dont get tried, the panicky feeling is still there at times, palpitations have settled a little bit and the fog is lifting, it seems to be worse when I have pmt, so it must be a bit hormonal for me, how are u going? Karen

Hi Karen, For me tiredness induced more anxiety - was susceptible...I think Glad things have settled for youxx Yep pmt was (is, still a bit) awful, but a bit better than it was. My GP stated hormones (retrospectively for me) but also other factors as causal?? Hope you have a good weekend btwx Take care Hopefulx
