Hi Carlie
This sounds like stress sort of symptoms to me. It plays all sorts of tricks on us, and the more worried we get the more tense we get. Its like a bit of a circle.
I have had all sorts of days like this. I also by accident found out that when my IBS was bad, it dehydrated me enough to make my antid's more condensed in my body. So more side effects kicked in. I had not thought of this before till a Pharmacist pointed it out.
Or you might just be a bit dehydrated and drinking a bit more fluid today might take it off. It does not sound like much to do, but it sometimes works, try it. See if you can get a couple or so glasses of water or squash down.
Be kind to yourself too. Rest up today and try not to do too much. But like Caz says if you are too worried give NHS direct a ring.
Jay xx

Hi Carlie
I had my first Migraine 6 weeks after my daughter was born, and subsequently had loads of bouts of headaches and blurry vision. I think stress probably causes it. I am certain the illness is making you panic that you have a tumour, and of course if you are at all worried you should see your gp, but I think this is all part of PNI playing with your head.
Hope you are feeling better now?

Hi Carlie,
Sounds to me you have a tension migraine, I suffer from them rather alot. esp when I was going thro uni's final exams.
As for if you have a brain tumour, dont worry we all think that. But my aunt actually had a brain tumour, god bless her. She got very very severe headaches and a constant ringing in her ears. Her balance was very badly affected and it got that she hardly even see. So rest assured you dont have a brain tumour, not meaning this with any disrespect to you at all, but what you get isnt nearly bad enough to have a brain tumour. So dont worry about that bit.
I hope your headache gets better. Check with the doc about which meds you can take, somtimes with antids you cant take all sorts. I find immigran works well but I'm breat feeding so have from doc cant remeber the name. But they will find something that works for you
Love and hugs

Hi Carlie How are you now? I also had headches like this at the beginning - and like you, tended to be on one side and feeling like it was especially around the socket of my eye? I also had blurred vision, as have others here - it's so awful and frightening - and I feel sure (although obviously not an expert) that this can be related to PNI as so many women have described what you have here. I used to look things up on the Net. Really bad for doing that. Have avoided doing this recently as GP said it was a bad idea and for true reassurance a consultation/ examination is betterxx Hope you're a bit better today - know how scarey it can be Hopefulx

thank you all for your kind words and advice. My aunty does massage and today she said she thinks its tension and stress. obviously she probably right but i stil doubt it! my head been hurting on and off all day and have had dizzy spells on and off all day too. i have been to my gp no end of time about headaches and dizzyness, she jus gives me anti dizzy pills which i dont take! she said it could be muscle tension headaches or migrains. gave me migrain tabs to try but im too scared to incase they make me feel funny as codene did before. i dont know, know idea what it is! question tho, if i had a serious illness anywhere like cancer would it show up in blood tests? as iv had all them and they all clear. i want a mri scan to see if my head is ok but my doc jus never suggests for me to have one as she doesnt think i have a brain tumour. im going mad!! xx

Hi Carlie
I kknow I sound like a boring broken record, but honestly the dizziness and the headaches will all be pni related. I know its really hard to believe, I spent months convinced it must be somthing else.
If your dr's felt for a second there was anything wrong then they would investiagte it. Oddly when I went to my GP one of the many occasions he told me that the most common symptom that surgeries see to is dizziness. Bizzarre!
Here whenever you need to talk hun, honestly I know what you are going through, I have been there.
Look after yourself x

Hi Carlie
Yeah melly is right I think, I'm almost sure it does show up in your blood. As for the dizziness tablets, I think you should try taking them, dont worry about the effects codine had on you, I'm told alot of people have effects from them.
You seem to be afraid to use any kind of tablet. I know I hate taking them too, but darling you'll never get to the route of this if you dont begin to feel better and honestly you really need to at least try to take them. Generally people are ok, and they dont get side effects. Isnt it worth trying?
Love and hugs

They gave me some tablets for the dizziness, cant remember what they were called but think they started with a B? They werent a magic cure but helped a bit, so probably worth taking them.
How are you doing today?

Hi
I had exactly the same symptoms as you and like you I believed it was a brain tumour. Prior tohaving my second child, I'd rarely suffered from headaches, but suddenly I had this permanent dull ache especially round teh eyes adn also shooting pains in my head. My eye sight deteriorated and I when looking at soemthing in the distance I'd get double vision. I also had tingling and numb patches - on my arms legs and also face. Can distinctly remember having a numb patch on my chin! I had tonnes of blood tests but everything came back ok.
With some of it was related to stress - after my antids kicked in the spaciness feeling and also headaches and tingling went. Other things, however, took a while to go and that includes the eyesight problem.
Many women on here have headaches and other symptoms you've mentioned. Often drs pooh pooh that this can be PNI related. However, it is hightly unlikely to be a brain tumour - which apparetnly could present other symtpms, which I'm sure your dr would pick up on.
I found it impossible to beleive that my symptopms were PNI related but some one (a biochemist) said to me that hormones can be really nasty.
The masasge sounds like a good idea - anything that relaxes you can't be bad! Things like breathing exercise and general exercise can make a huge difference if you're feeling up to it.
