Hi Everyone, I wanted to start a diary for a while, finally getting around to it. Today's starting out ot be a good day. Still early, but i can sense a good day! I really should be clearing up the dishes and tidy our room up a bit but i'm a bit caught up with the forum today Peter's watching Play School so i thought i would jump on here for a bit until he gets sick of it! Brett got invited for lunch with his brothers on Sunday (they're talking to him now because we went to his mums on monday). Again they only invited brett, and not myself. Another way of his family excluding me. He's not sure if he'll go. For those of you who don't know, we haven't spoken or seen his family since January this year as there was a big drama which i touched on in another thread "mother in law". I'll keep you all updated! Two weeks and 2 days till our big day Take care Love and Light, Natalie xxx

Hey Gals Had a great day today! As i thought i would, thank goodness! I've just had a brain wave about starting my own business. I REALLY want to work from home and do my own thing. I am a fully qualified make up artist, but work isn't constant enough to just do that by itself. So i have a plan in mind, which i will have to research into a bit more but i'll tell you all about it more when i plan it out properly! Hope everyone is going to have a happy sunny day! Love and Light, Natalie xxx

Hey Girls, Had a good day today again...VERY tired, but still good. Peter's 6th tooth is breaking through so we were up every half hour to an hour from 11pm through till the next morning!! Feel a bit zombie like today! Still managed to hit the Plaza with my mum to help her look for a bag for the wedding, then had a lovely lunch at a cafe. Yummy nachos and a cuppaccino! It's funny because most days when i've had a horrid night the night before, i can do so much in the day. Yet other days when i've had a fairly reasonable sleep i feel very slow and sluggish the next day! Weird!! Yay weekend now. Time with hubby as a family. Hopefully get up to something good this weekend. Hope everyone's well! Love and Light Natalie xxx Nighty Night!

Hi Natalie,
Isn't sleep a funny thing with PNI. Doesn't necessarily determine how well you'll fare the next day does it??!! Anyway, just to say I hope you have good weekend.

My cousins, aunty and uncle just left. They came over for my younger brother birthday. Was to good to spend time with them. Can't sleep. Feel very tired but mind feels like it's going round and round! It feels exhausted but doesn't want to rest! Peter and Brett are asleep and it's 10:13pm, i really should be asleep too! Noticed it's about lunchtime for you girls, but no one seems to be on! Oh well, maybe i'll catch someone on here another time. Had a friend over today while brett was at cricket all day. It was good to just relax with her and Peter, chat and drink coffee Hope you're all having a good Saturday, mine has come to an end! Sunday tomorrow yay. I love sundays, nice and relaxing! Brett will be at golf with my youngest brother and dad, so it'll be me, my mum, peter and my eldest brother at home which will be nice. Hope it's sunny! Well enjoy the rest of your weekend. I might try to sleep...see how i go. Love and Light, Natalie xxx

Another thing i wanted to write before i forget. Todays 2 weeks till our wedding day, and it has just hit me how scared i am of losing my family name. I always felt fine with changing my last name, but for some reason today it just hit me that i'm a bit hesitant about it. I said to brett its going to be weird not being conected with my family in that way anymore. To be honest, i don't mean this in any nasty way at all, but i don't like the thought of sharing the same last name as his mum (as we aren't on good terms as you know). I want myself to share the same family name as brett and peter, but i don't like the feeling of being connected to her in that way. Sorry if it sounds stupid, selfish or nasty. Did anyone else feel a bit conflicted over changing their last name at all??? Love and light, Natalie xxx

Sleep tight Natalie Don't worry there are a few insomniacs here - it was me and BAM last night who couldn't sleep!

Hi Natalie
I've just received my Deed Poll pack. It's taken me 5 years to finally give in to changing over to hubbys surname!! I just think it might simplify things and also, he really wanted me to which in some ways is quite sweet.

LOL - changing something you've had all your life is a bit weird though isn't it?! You soon get used to it - although you can have relapses - I would sign my card transaction as my maiden name and that always went down well ;-)

Yeah brett told me he would be upset and offended if i didn't take his name. So there's my answer i guess I want to anyway, it's just really weird when i think about it. Said in my last post that i hoped todays was going to be sunny, well complete opposite! It's pouring down with rain! I hope it won't be for my wedding! We'll see. Ended up having a good sleep! Peter woke up just before i was going to go to bed, took me five minutes to put him back to sleep, then slept through till 6:30 this morning, not bad i must say! Brett got up to him anyway, so i got sleep in a bit longer Hope you all have a lovely sunday! Love and Light, Natalie xxx

Hi Girls, I've come across an Aussie forum, but it covers a whole range of topics like PNI, new mums, pregnancy etc. It's interesting, but i kept comparing it to this one. I love this forum so much. This one seems more personal and more like a family if you know what i mean!!! Just wanted to say i'm so glad i found you lovely ladies! Even though most of you are on the other side of the world, it's great talking and bonding with you all. Lotsa Love Natalie xxx ;D~^*`GROUP HUG`*^~

Hey Girls, Didn't go to bed till late last night again! I don't why but the last couple of nights i haven't been able to sleep till about 11:30pm, and i'm usually out to it by 9:30pm latest! I don't know if it's because there's so much going on in my head at the moment. I always tend to think about EVERYTHING when i'm in bed, therefore preventing any sleep happening! I take after my mum in that way, i hope i don't turn into a horrible sleeper like her though aaggh! How was everyone's weekend??? Take care! Love and Light, Natalie xxx
