Mood rating Another good one - oh dear I am worried about what's round the corner but hey... Took Anya swimming this morning with 3 little friends and they had a great time splashing in the water. Then back to a friend's house for lunch. Anya's worn out so have had plenty of time to do web stuff, always a bonus! Got to do yukky supermarket shop later so must go and put my feet up and have a biscuit! Printed off a list of symptoms of mania in manic depression from the MIND website and it was reassuring in that I don't have any of the symptoms. Was good for Si to read it too to help him see that mania is more extreme than just being 'up' and energetic. Hope to catch up with some of you later Naomi x

Hey Hopeful
Thanks - it's nice to know people are looking out for me even when things are going well. My lovely husband went to the supermarket for me this evening and came back with a Tesco Finest lasagne so I didn't even have to cook!
Lots of love, Naomi x

Thanks sianyc - I agree, keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts a little longer than usual this time Yesterday mood rating Had lots of company yesterday which made the day go really quickly, and I even managed to get my bathroom cleaned (only 6 months since it was last done by my mum-in-law!!) We have friends staying this weekend so that provided the motivation! I saw my friend S in the morning to have a chat and a pray about the disturbing things I thought during my psychosis. Was good to draw a line under it and think about now moving on. Then had a friend J to look after Anya for a couple of hours whilst I did the cleaning. I feel so blessed to have 'surrogate' sisters and aunties around, even though I live so far from my family... My mum's still really poorly so I do miss having her to talk to, looking forward to visiting her in a few weeks time. Today A more relaxed one again today. Had my church women's group this morning and watched a zany video whilst the children played together. Anya loves being with the others and her friend J can now walk so she was very impressed, if a little jealous! Planning a potter round town this afternoon, supposed to be the last day of sunshine before we get a big storm at the weekend. Hope everyone's OK, lots of love Nay xx

Later today... flagging My energy seems to run out by half way through the afternoon - little lady exhausted too so she's off in her cot and I'm going to lie on the sofa with my blanket. Never made it to town - oh well! xx N

Hi Nay
Glad you've had a good couple of days - what did we say about taking things easy!?!? Must be the bathroom that did it - I've told P and he feels guilty for not insisting he helped! Ha Ha x Have a good night, might catch you tomorrow KL x

It's brilliant that you've been having such a good run. It's reassuring to be seeing signs of recovery isn't it? Even though there are still down days the fact that there are glimpses of a former personlity is amazing! Have a good week -I'll check in when I'm back from my boring boring course

Hey Sian - thanks for the lovely words of support. It is fantastic having a stretch of feeling like the normal me. I still worry about what's round the corner, especially as I've tended to have a 5-week cycle of 3 good 2 dreadful weeks, but we're up to 3 weeks well now and I haven't felt the signs of my mood dipping yet... Hugs, hope the course had moments of interestingness?! N x

A quick update & trying to keep my mood diary going! Friday ;D a bit hectic! Saturday chilled Sunday need a rest Friday was a busy but fun one with Sing & Sign in the morning, with Anya crawling and pulling herself up on furniture at every opportunity - not sure she's going to learn many signs but hey... Went out for lunch with one of the other mums but we were both rushing to get babies home for 12.00 naps. Then had a blitz on the website, and had a friend round for coffee. Suddenly it was 7 pm and had to race around cooking a nice meal for our friends J&S arriving at 8. Stayed up too late chinwagging! Saturday was bliss... pottered through the market and stopped for coffee and cake. Bought fresh mackerel and BBQ'd it on the beach - despite the high winds it was lovely, and Anya was entertained by corn on the cob for about half an hour! Another late night debating religion and putting the world to rights! I'm too old for getting to bed past midnight... Today was a bit busy again with church, lunch with J&S and then packing up Si for travelling to Plymouth with work. Still finding my limits in energy, but Si was great and tidied up the kitchen before he left. Getting a sore throat so my body does seem to give me signs when I need to put my feet up again. Have to remember - still in recovery!

Hi Nay
Sorry we've missed you too x
You sound to have had a picture postcard weekend- BBQ on the beach, wonderful! It does really catch up though if you've had a busy few days even if they've been busy with lovely things.
Is Si back tonight or does he have to stay away?
Hope your throat is ok and remember to put your feet up x
Long may these happy days remain xxxxxxxxxx

Today Thanks KL - it was a picture postcard weekend! I still can't quite believe how lucky we are to live in Devon - Anya will probably take it for granted but we originally lived in Leeds so it's still a real novelty to be near the beach. Today's been good so far - had my baby music group for mums with PND and we're organising to meet up after the group has finished (3 weeks left now). Anya was funny as it's meant to be lots of time with your baby on your knee or facing you for singing and rhymes, but she's such a busy little bee that she kept crawling off to play with the instruments or poke the other babies... ho hum! 3 weeks feeling well and counting - here's hoping I get a longer stretch than usual!
