Hi WG,
Before I had kids my cycles had seem to regulate on their own at about 6 weeks. They never really got back to normal after the first but my first 2 cycles since Jan have been 33 days so not even 5 weeks. This is the closest to 28 days that I've ever been and twice in a row! You should aks for metformin again. I did this and had to be referred again. Iwanted to take it because of my weight although I don't think it has help me lose any but I'm sure if I dieted I would find it easier than before.
Today has been eventful. I had toddlers this morning. Jamie cried non stop this morning until I comforted him and Daisy was like a zombie and this was before I left the house. They have both been coming down with colds and today they are suffering. I dosed them up with medicine and then went to toddlers. Daisy clung to me the whole session and wouldn't share any toys and Jamie was OK but needed a lot of cuddling. We got home and had a bit of lunch. They ate diddly squat really and all afternoon I have had to cuddle them both and they have been whinging and crying of sleeping. It's so draining and they have both been ill for about6 days now. The nights have been ok so at least I am getting sleep but today I have really found it mentally draining. I am coping with it but tonight I've been feeling a bit low and bogged down by it cos I can't really enjoy them. It sounds horrible cos it's not their fault but that constant crying and not knowing why just drives you mad! OH isn't feeling well either and the house looks like a right mess. He usually clears the kitchen up after dinner and I was dreading doing it but he said he will do it and that I am doing a brilliant job of looking after them which is nice. I think he understands cos I left him with them for 1 1/2 hours last night while I popped out and he had to put up with the crying. When Jamie loses his temper he cries and holds his breath and passes out. He did it last night and my boyfriend hates it. He did it twice me this morning. It doesn't worry me though cos I know as soon as he passes out he will start breathing again as your body does it automatically but it's not very nice to see him get in such a state. He usually only does it when he is ill or if Daisy really winds him up. Anyway..enough moaning from me. I'm off to bed to read my NOW magazine and catch up on all celeb mummies moaning about still being fat after 1 minute of having their babies. Oh the worries....!!

He holds his breath and passes out!! God that would really freak me out! Its amazing some of the things do when they get in a state!?
Yes I might ask about the Metformin, but might have to come off the pill first I guess so will have to see. I love it for the difference it made to me so will def weigh my options up.
Hope your LO's are feeling better soon hun. Its awful when they are like this and such hard work.
Enjoy your magazine babes!

Hi All,
Had better day today. Daisy is better although still sleeping for England. Jamie is a lot better and has stopped the persistent whingeing and crying. OH was off of work today with a man cold!! so I left Daisy with him and popped into town with Jamie to get a couple of bits. When I got home I had a bad headache. It has since got worse and is now banging. I have taken some pills but they don't seem to be doing much. It probably doesn't help me staring at a computer screen. I just hope I'm not getting the lergy from the others. I can't be ill!!

Hi All,
Not had a bad day today. Still got the bad head lingering but not as bad as it was yesterday. Got a few jobs done today which was something. Jamie is back to his whingeing ways. I think it is teeth though at the moment. Daisy is a lot better cos she has started being naughty again so I know she feels better! OH came home from work today constantly going on about his man cold. I had to laugh cos I have felt like that many a time but I don't get any sympathy!! They are funny though. I think he thinks he's dying. Not really much else to report other than I'm knackered so I'm off to make a cuppa and then bed!

Hi All...
I caught the lergy. One side of my face is completely bunged up and painful but the other is fine. Very strange. Also been feeling low today. It's been coming on for the last couple of days but I have just finished my period plus coming down with this and looking after two sick kids who, by the way, seem to be back to normal.
Went to football today (I support Reading FC). OH couldn't go as he is still man flu'd up so went with his mum. It was cold wet and windy but we didn't lose so that's a bonus.
I'm trying to stay busy so that I don't get consumed by this low mood and thoughts drifting but I am knackered and need to switch off soon so I'm going to sit in bed with my crossword book till I drop.

Hi All,
Not had the best of days today. I started to feel a bit dodgy yesterday lunchtime. I kind of went down hill from there until last night I actually felt quite bad and didn't go to sleep in the end until 12.30. Today I have felt much the same. I just keep feeling like why and whats the point. It could be because I'm a bit low after my period and because I have a headfull of cold. Even so. it's gutting when I know that a week ago if I had thought these thoughts I would have just brushed them aside and not worried about them. It's weird how you can be like that and then a week later you can't control how you feel. It's like something has got into me and is messing it all up. I've been trying to keep myself busy today so that I don't dwell on things. I struggled to get up this morning but when I did get going I went to toddlers. I then went to straight to Sainsburys for some lunch with a friend. My mum had the day off of work and came and met me and we wondered around the shop for a while. I then went to Argos and Toys r us to buy some more bits for our toddler group. When I got home my friend dropped by for an hour with her 3 and then OH was home and time for tea. Finished tea got cleared up, put LO's in bed, watched Esatenders, got stuff ready for tomorrow and here I am now. I just need to snap out of this mindset but it's proving difficult. Going to bed in a min. to do some crosswords. Hopefully my eyes will give up on me and I'll go straight to sleep.

Hi Lara
How did today go? I find that when I have a bit of a bug or cold etc... it really can affect my mood and other PNI symptoms. My doctor once told me that everyone gets mildly depressed after any illness, colds, tummy bugs etc... And i really do believe her.
Will you be watching Eastenders again tonight? Bianca is back! If her gobby tones dont make you laugh nothing will! LOL x
Will catch up with you later x
Take Care

Hey Latsbars, sorry I havent been able to read your diray for a while, it has been a really busy week. So sorry you've been having such a tough week. And looking abck over my diary I can really follow the patterns of illness and low points- I fond that it just takes away all my patience and energy so I feel like Im back to square one- just surviving. Your body is working hard toget you better so you end up feeling utterly exhausting. being ill is no fun with kids is it? Gone are the days of watching DVDs and phil and fern and wallowing a bit. Poor you. I feel so sorry for you having a week of whole family illness. Its so tiring- I don't know how you do it with two sicky kids! My Lo gets super clingy and whingy too adnd it just works your last nerve doesn't it? I find it impossible to keep in my head that they are ill and really need me, I just find it so hard to stay calm and not find the constant srying maddening. I really hope youve had a better day, everything will seem so much easier once you're all healthier again. Thinking of you katiev x

Hi All....thnks for the replies.
I had toddlers again this morning and had to be there on time today as I had some craft bits which we needed for a sponsored event that we were doing. Slept a bit late and ended up getting out of bed quicj this morning so not much time to think about things. I did feel absolutely exhausted though like I'd been up all night with a newborn. I did have 6-7 hours sleep but still got the dreaded cold so I think i must have had poor sleep. Got to toddlers...on time....and had quite a good session. Cam home, fed us all, tidied up, did nappies, played for a while, put Jamie in cot and Daisy went upstairs to watch telly in bed and fell asleep. Bonus! I laied and watched a bit of telly while reading magazine then had a snooze for an hour. When I woke up I had the mother of all headaches. It was 5 o'clock and OH was due home. It did ease up a bit but had pain in my teeth so thinking it is a sinus headache. OH came home and he said he would sort dinner out. Went and laid in bed, took tablets, got dinner brought to me in bed! Finished dinner and head alot better. Came down and got on with a few jobs. Now on here. Have felt a bit better mentally than yesterday. Although I have had my down moments I have had a few where I have felt quite happy so hopefully I'm back on the up.
WG - I did watch enders and it was so funny. Pat and Peggys bitch fight was so funny and good old Bianca was back gobbing off again. I love her and was gutted when she left before. Don't know how long she is staying for but I hope it's a while.
I hope you are all looking after yourselves.

Hi All,
I haven't been on in the last few days. Not sure why really but been feeling like poo. I still feel ill. Left hand side of face is all bunged up, teeth hurt, pounding head and neckache. I still feel really low at the moment and I swear this has something to do with it. OH went to the docs yesterday as he has had it for 5 weeks and got antibiotics. If I'm not better by mon. then I'm off there. Hopefully I might perk up a bit. I just feel really low like what is the point and am finding it hard to get motivated about anything. I thought I had narrowed this down to time of the month so that's why I'm hoping it is illness. Kids are all well now and not really any probs with them which helps. I have all of my family coming over on sun. My sister decided to come so then my mum said she would and then my brother said he would and my sister is bringing my day. Plus all of the kids! I think I'll be gagging for monday by then!
Hope you are all well.
