Hi TM
I agree with WG and you do need to talk to him, men never seem to understand unless we spell it out for them.
Hang in there hun and let us know how it goes - men are bloody hard work !
Take care

Hi TM
Try not too worry too much, if the pain gets worse then phone him back and see him otherwise make an appt with the doc tomorrow. Try and sit down and relax a bit as it might be anxiety.
sending you bug hugs hun

Right dont sit there scared to death - get the bloody doctor out! Or go to the hospital. Its prob nothing serious but I know you will be up all night worrying if you dont get it checked tonight. Can you ring the doctor back?

Just got back from the doctors and I've got to go for an Xray, not what I wanted to hear, wanted him to say it was nothing to worry about so not reassured in the slightest, the results will take a couple of weeks unless "there's something there that shouldn't be" I suppose my only comfort is in that I had a chest xray a couple of months ago and that was normal. Am all anxious and upset now.

Hi
Really sorry to hear you are upset - sure they're just being 'belt and barces' but understand your anxiety as had loads of tests when my anxiety was through the roof.
Sending you huge hugs xx

Hey you
Dont be worried babes. If they thought for a second it was anything serious they wouldnt pack you off to wait and here for 2 weeks! I am glad you had it looked at. I had something similar a few years back and it was a broken a rib - but saying that you would know if that was it because it hurts like hell.
It is GOD that they have sent you home to wait - it means its nothing serious!!
Huge hugs to you mate

Hey TM
Sorry I have missed you the past few days when you have had a rough time.
Ed is just so like Paul. Some times we can accept it and work around it but other times, it just makes you feel resentful, used and down (and thats coming from someone who doesnt work properly!!). I don't know how you do what you do. I know so many men like this but also I know men who are different and helpful but then thye may not work as hard or be there at times of real need, who knows? I do know how you feel though. Sadly none of my outbursts have changed Paul and he still treats me like a servant/W***e. I won't go to work though because I know that wouldnt change. Why dont you tell him you are quitting your job because you cant do it alone, that may make him see sense.
How is the rib? Don't worry they wouldnt send you home if it was a worry.

Hi all,
Just checking in cos I'm a bit blippy. Feeling very tense and anxious, suspect it's been triggered by worrying over my ribs but as soon as I feel anxious I start questioning what it means and whether I'm a danger etc etc, my husband is on lates this week as well so isn't helping, but I'll get through it - we always do don't we!

Hi both
feeling crap today, my ribs are killing, still worried sick but my gp hasn't phone yet so I suppose no news is good news, it looks so bloody awful, it's sunken just beneath my left breast and then the rest of the ribs are jutting right out, looks freaky, everybody that's seen it has been horrified so I know it's not all in my mind. My glands are really swollen again as well and are really painful, had this cold for weeks now, adding 2 and 2 together and making 6, feeling a bit sorry for myself!

HUGE HUGS L xx
You are right - no news IS good news, but an answer would be good wouldnt it!!?
I know I cant say anything right now to help your anxiety - but wanted to say that I know its upsetting, and to keep ringing the gp if it helps put your mind at ease x
Lots of Love
