Hi everyone!
Gee it has been quite some time since I have been on here! I am now 24 weeks pregnant and baby is doing fine. Had our last ultrasound on Friday and the docs say that all looks good and baby is a good size. We do not wish to know the sex of the baby so it will be a surprise. I have decided to have an elective caesarian as this baby will be born if not on the same day, within days of Elisavoula's birth and death and have decided I don't want any visitors coming until the following day. I didn't get any alone time with Elisavoula and I know I will be quite emotional when this one is born etc. My mum's a bit surprised as I said I didnt want any immediate family except for my hubby there the first day. I figure I wouldn't be able to sit up or walk around till much later on as I would like to be awake during the operation. I am currently taking Seroquel as a prophylactic measure for my mental health this pregnancy and am hoping all will be ok after the birth too.
Time for a lie down...
Take care..will write again soon.
Katherine xx

Hi, I've only just read your story for the first time Massive Congratulations to you. You have been through so much and deserve some happiness.
I suffered puerperal psychosis when my daughter was born in july 2006 and spent some time in a psychiatric unit too. I can't imagine what you must be feeling at the moment happiness and fear etc....but I'm sure you will be really closely monitored and supported throughout.
I have a friend whose baby sadly died at two months and they now have three healthy happy children but on the anniversary of his death they go to their favourite beach and let a baloon go in his memory so they all now about their big brother.
I wish you all the best
vicky x
