Hello
I'm sorry to bother you and I hope you don't mind me emailing you. My name is C***** ******and I work for ****** ****** Features Agency writing features for women's magazines like Bella, Best and That's Life. I was wondering if you know of any women who have suffered from post traumatic stress disorder after birth who would be willing to talk about their experiences for a true-life feature in one of these women's magazines.
I believe that this is a subject that isn't often highlighted and I think it is important for women to know that trauma after birth does exist and that they are not alone. The feature would be told from the woman's point of view, about what she went through and the impact it had on her, and her baby and family. She would be able to read through the finished feature before it is published and would need to provide photos, just snapshots that she might have of her and her family. She would also be paid between £200 and £500 for the feature, depending on the magazine and the length of the feature. The only thing magazines ask is that they haven't already appeared in a women's weekly magazine before.
Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you.
Best wishes
