me and my partner is thinking about trying for another baby. but I'm really scared about how it will effect me with me having pni at the moment. I'm on medication and i don't know if i can still take it while carrying a baby or will i have to come off it. I'm also scared that my pni might get worse and will i be able to bond with a new baby.

Hi Hannah
I know that this subjest is a really hard one as it really is a personel decision. I believe there are some medications that you can still take while pregnant but equally there are lots that you can't take. I'm sure that with support and people knowing that you are suffering PNI you would get through it. But as i said it really is a decision that only you and your partner can make.
how old is your baby now and how long have you been taking medications.
Take Care

hi hannah
the thing is hannah if you tell them as soon as you are pregnant they really keep an eye on you , they took me off my medication but i can honestly say im not worse , in fact if it werent for the morning sickness i would be fine most of the time , it does make you feel different when you get pregnant and it is scary but each pregnancy is so different it just cant be predicted , you might feel loads better and if you dont they will give you support im sure , some woemn take meds whilst pregannt , depends on ure doctor , im getting them as soon as i have given birth and im asking soon whether that will stop me breast feeding , anyway i just wanted to say this to you as im really ok just knackerd but thats more due to my age having this one , im feeling being 40 now so this is my last one but i would of been better having them younger ,
i still have pni but sometimes i feel fine and thats without meds and booze and fags and anything except support , i need support and the midwives have been dead good so far , dont let pni put you off babe , if you really want to have another then i would seriously consider it but just make sure you tell them how you feel and keep telling them , keep talking to everybody and ure fella , he needs to know its gonna be work for him to and he must be solid for you , its so important , anyway good luck

Aww, fantastic news!
I want one too but only being 16, I think my family would kill me hehe. Anyway, Jessica is far than enough for me. She's gorgeous.
Good luck with baby making! You can take anti-depressents whilst pregnant but check with doctor as the type you are on now might be too strong or have some kind of ingredient which could harm bubba.
You take care of yourself and let me know if the pitter patter of tiny feet is arriving!!
I am quite worried about you having a baby whilst suffering with PNI purely because the added stress of a new baby and pregnancy are amazing and I just don't know how anyone could do it with PNI - it is possible though. If you really want to do this I say go for it!
