What used to REALLY annoy me was when mentioning to people that I'd had PNI (PP) and they replied with, 'oh yes, the baby blues.. I had that'
haha - don't make me laugh you ignoramous!!

I got a corker last week. Keep in mind that I am one year into this so I would have hoped that nearest and dearest had learned a few lessons.
Last Thurs after massive snowfall, dragging little man to school on foot with make up running, hair soaking wet and knowing a was due in Manchester at 10am! I live about 30 miles away and the wrong side of the Pennines!
Anyway, finally got home at 8pm after no dinner or tea and said to my mum (who was sitting), "I am really stressed, this is the nearest I have come to having a panic attack in a good 8 months"....note I was looking for sympathy at this point...her reply...."Oh Rachel, take a chill pill".
I had to leave the room before I fainted. Unbelievable.
Another was when my OH said about his family's lack of interest or help for me throughout the last year - "Oh, my family just feel like they need to give you space". "Space" - I need blooming help not space....

Chill pill, I love it (NOT)
I hated it when people used to say ''chill out'' (do you think I CHOOSE to be this agitated??)

This has got to be the ultimate in heartless comments. Courtesy of my darling sister who isn't actually that heartless, she just has absolutely no tact or compassion for others! OK maybe that's a bit mean, but hey! I was staying at her house when she saw me pop a prozac one morning, she asked what it was and I told her (now I'm on my 2nd go at this and she's known since I had it 1st time round) I made a jokey comment about 'it's better than having a gin... at least social services don't take your kids away for prozac' And she said......... 'maybe they should' Well you could have picked me up off the floor! She immediately said 'only joking' but duh, what a bloody stupid thing to say! Fortunately i was in good humour so I didn't take it to heart! xx

The ones I really hate are:
'Well it's not surprising really I mean you've been through so much and he is a difficult baby' They mean well but it just makes it sound like I can't handle what has happened or my own baby!!
'Why would they say you have PND?' Er I don't know maybe cos I have doh!!!
'But you have so much more time on your hands now you have a baby compared to when you worked full-time' What planet do you live on!!! She is now pregnant ha ha got it all to come!!!
'Things will get better as long as you don't go back to work' I don't think so I actually think going back to work would do me some good!!!
'It's very common in women who don't have supportive partners' This from the counsellor I was seeing for Birth Trauma. Actually my boyfriend is supportive so try again!!!

LOL - love the comment about the time on your hands. I am someone who went back to work full time after having my baby - and I can assure you - staying at home with a baby is MUCH harder work!!!
