"Cheer up" was my husbands favorite for a while, I explained I would if I could. "you need to get out more" easier said than done, as I don't want to see anyone "are you going mad" yes, thanks for noticing

Here are some recent ones. "she's just a baby!" - when I mentioned that my DD was irritating me that day, just make me feel even more guilt why don't you. "millions of people have done it before you" - when telling someone that I felt really lost and alone as a new mum. "well, you've just got to get over it, it's not all about you anymore, you have a baby to look after" - when telling my mother that I was crying a lot lately.

"millions of people have done it before you" Don't you just hate that one... One of the nurses ( a psychiatric one no less on a Depression ward) at the hospital where I was when heavily pregnant and suffering acute stages of PNI said to me: "Snap out of it, you are gonna be a mother soon"I was gobsmacked and still am, I even complained about her afterwards.

The constant dig that his workmates wife at work has 4 kids all under 5 (incl. 2 toddlers and a newborn), has got everything under control, is more organised ~ has hubbys shirts ironed, rings up hubby every day to ask him if he's having a a nice day at work, and lets the kids talk to him as well, has a lovely cooked meal each day for him when he gets home from work.... and hubby never has to lift a finger with the kids when he comes home because she says he shouldn't have to because after all he's been at work all day, plus he gets a good nights sleep.....Aargh!!!!!!.Give me a bucket..

I totally agree with all of the above! mine was from my boss: "i never thought you'd be get it" "well the midwife never offered me the vaccination, so i didnt stand a chance" was my reply, to which i got another gem: "at least you've still got your sense of humour"
does anyone else just want to shout piss off atr the top of their voice?
