Hi Mummydonna It is never too late!! I have not even put mine in yet and I have the bank account details! right here - I must get round to it!!!! You can do it either PayPal or cheque - cheques get made out to PNI ORG UK and the PayPal address to send it by email is donations@pni.org.ukIf it is by cheque - email me for the postal address at veritee@pni.org.uk For those of you that do not know - as well as running this service we also- when we have spare funds left over from the amount we need to run this support service..........give out small grants for : - starting up a PNI support group,
- small projects to raise awareness of PNI and
- individual personal development grants to individual women for things they want to do to relieve the symptoms of PNI - either jsut for themselves for me time or with their children to have some family time - for those with very limited funds
If anyone wants to apply - you do so by email or letterWe can only give out such grants however when we have excess funds from running the basic service - so funds raised from the AW will really help someone Because we do not have a regular source of funding - we do not have a grant at present so currently rely on what we can raise from the sale of wristbands etc and donations - so the grants we give out are quite small - usually £25 to a maximum of rarely £50.However they have proved very useful at times i.e they have paid for printing of posters and leaflets for PNI groups, or tea and coffee for a group for months or allowed a woman on a very limited income who has PNI and never gets any time out for herself or time with her children away from the home to go out for the day, or paid for traveling and expenses for a job interview or for a baby massage session etc!! This may seem like very small things but the feedback is the grants really have been useful to those that have had them ( we do to actually need much to run our basic services. We can do it on about £500 a year, but it is better with about £1500. But then we do nto get many funds either, so we are always running on a shoestring - But I believe we do an awful lot for the very little money we have to do it on? But yes you can send it in either way- and be sure it will be used well.
We are all entirely voluntary and give our expenses for phone calls and travel as a donation i.e we pay for this ourselves , so no money at all is spend on wages etc so every penny really does go to women with PNI!!!Love to all Veritee

Through Just Giving site I believe you can set up a monthly donation. I am going to attempt to set this up in the next few days when I can grab hubbys details Even a few pounds a month will help support the charity, if I can sort it out then hopefully it may encourage others to do the same if they can afford it Liz x
