Hi Sam
Totally undersdtandable that you are feeling the way you do at the moment with all that has gone/is going on! Its enough to turn anyone into a wreck! But you are coping really well.
My LO isnt well at the moment either and I have had to send her to nursery today as I am at work and feel bloody awful for it - just want to be with her and look after her. I know how it feels.
Glad you managed to destress a bit last night. Hubby and I sometimes get the cards or the draughs out just to do something else for a bit and we find it quite relaxing as a change from the TV.
Hope it goes ok this afternoon at Ritas and Bob gets better soon xx

Nightmare - all that build up and worry and then no Op.
I recognise that 'nervous' feeling you're talking about though. I had that a lot along with feeling like I was really tightly wound and would just explode at any minute. Didn't see it as anxiety at the time but clearly it was.
How did the party go?

The stew sounds lovely! But I cant eat rabbit (you used to have a house rabbit as a pet for years...) LOL x
What date is Connors Birthday? Is it actually the 1st Oct? Mine is on the second, all good stock born that week...
You are so organised about xmas! I have no money for chrimbo so would be good to start sorting now but i am useless at thinking that far ahead....
Hope you enjoy your tea later!!

hey Sam
I'm on mad party prep too - my eldest is 5 next week and has a party on Sunday. I am nowhere near as good at cooking as you seem to be though and so it's Asda cakes all the way (apart from the birthday cake which my nan is making!)
What were you studying?

Hey Sam
Was just reading what you were saying about Connor not eating. My LO went through a phase of just not eating, and I got talking to the manager of her nursery who just told me not to worry about it. She said that up until the age of 4, kids have a sort of built in calorie counter in their head, so they dont really under or overeat as such as their body tells them when they need to it. She told me not to make a big deal when she didnt eat and just leave it and that she would eat again when she felt like it, she was never gonna starve.
I am much more relaxed about her not eating these days, though actually now all she ever seems to do is eat!
Hope the party goes well hun, sounds fab! I cant wait for my LO;s next birthday for the paper plates and hates and cups....
Take Care

Hi Sam,
Sounds like a lot of stresses for you at the moment. I really hope you feel better soon. You need to do things for you alone and consider yourself sometimes. Who is Val is she a therapist of some kind? Do you pay for that?
The weather here is lovely - on this side of the Pennines.
Please take what you can from here..

Sounds like anxiety - that feeling in your stomach. I had it a lot (although din't realise what it was at the time!) Distraction did help. It didn't get rid of the feeling but helped me get through the day with it if that makes sense?
I do accountancy (sort of). I'm a tax inspector so have done tax accounting stuff. Thinking about doing the proper Accountancy qualifications as the pay here is not as good as with outside firms and I'll have the tax and VAT experience to get me into a job. Can't really do it at the moment with the kids being so small though. I need the time to study and also I have loads of flexibility in my job that I'm not likely to get elsewhere.
Cracking money if you can get the course finished Sam - well worth the effort x

That's really low - taking someone's bag and purse from a kids party. Any news from the police yet?
