Hi WG
Just taken Violet to the doctors, she's got terrible cough and cold so popped into town and got a bit of shopping to make matt a nice dinner so i must be feeling a little better, don't think i've cooked for over a month!
I've got housework coming out of my ears so gonna spend the day doing that and nursing my poor little girl, she's done well to get to 9 months without getting anything so i suppose i can't complain!
The mother in law has always been a nightmare, it usually goes over my head but after the performance she gave for wanting violet overnight and then bloody whinging when she does. She completely and utterly deflates me, i guess that's just the kind of person she is.
How are you feeling?

Hey Beckah
We have parallel lives. my mum is just like Matts, she asks to have my kids, then moans to me and the world how hard it is and she is exhausted! Must be a certain type of character but its so frustrating.
MILs can be hard work too, try not to let her get to you.
Gonna text u now.

Hi WG
She's alot better thanks, i've given her some calpol now and she's settled a bit more.
I feel a lot better, my best friend just called me, he's been out of the country as he works and travels around with a circus and it's so hard when he's away because we only keep in touch via facebook. So just hearing his voice made my day, he always cheers me up and is one of the only people in the world who can sort my head out when i'm panicking about something.

I am freaking out, noticed a rash on violet's lower back/bum, did the glass test and it faded but didn't completely disappear. Called NHS direct and they just said to keep an eye on her and if she gets any worse to call them but now i'm so anxious.

If she has a cold as well its probably viral. Every time my LO has had a bag she has had a wee rash. Like you - i have been on the phone to NHS direct every time..
One thing I am certain having spent alot of time speaking to these people, is if they have even a smidge of doubt they would have you at emergency docs straight away, so if they have not done that then I am certain you have no need to panic.
I know how distressing it is though, I am one of these paranoid mothers who would liv at the GP'd with my LO if I could, but you have done everything right so do not worry. And if you feel you need to ring them again - do! Thats what they are there for xx
Sending you huge hugs (())

Hi Beckah
How is Violet? Mine also get viral rashes a lot. WG is right, they never mess with rashes on NHS direct so don't worry.
How are you today?
I am on facebook. Text me your full name and I will add you as a friend.

Violet is alot better today, thank god. Not her usual smiley self but a definite improvement.
My friend Amy had her 20 week scan today and since i'm birth partner she wanted me there so i had to tackle my driving anxiety to drive to the midlands and i'm so pleased with myself as i managed the drive there and back without a panic attack. I had a few "I'm going to drive into the central reservation on purpose" thoughts but not too bad overall.
Anyway, so that's why i've been away from the computer today. Glad to be home now though, think i might have a game on my DS and off to bed for me! Speak to you all tomorrow no doubt.

Morning WG
Well, i've only just woken up and Violet's still in bed, she's so lazy! It is nice though getting a lie in once in a while! I always feel anxious when i first wake up so i expect it now and can't wait for the day that it just doesn't come.
One of my friends is coming down to see me today and we're going to go shopping in Bristol and i have told myself that i am going to drive, but then i'm always a bit better when i have someone else in the car with me but i am quite anxious as if i crashed i would have me, Violet and my pregnant friend! Not much pressure then!
What games have you got for DS? I want to buy another today but not really sure what to go for.

God i must be mad. I woke up this morning feeling absolutely crap and so anxious and just horrible. Felt awful all day yesterday, went to this midlands for lunch at my mum's and jut felt so horrid all day.
This morning my sister-in-law called to say she felt really crap, got a bad cold and stomachbug and so i offered to pick her youngest up so she could go to bed until the elder two get home. What was i thinking? So now i have to face my anxieties about driving to go and pick Gracie up and then take care of my own 9 month old and then Gracie who is 17 months, am i mad? Just don't think before i offer to do things for people. I'm dreading the day ahead!
How is everyone!

Hey Beckah
This is the exact sort of thing that will help you get better. You may feel rubbish doing it but once you have you will feel a good sense of achievement.
Good on you for trying - when I was illest I salways said no and once I started doing stuff I hated, thats when I got better.
