Andrea, what an amazing montage. Such an inspiration, brought me close to tears as I could relate with all of it. I was diagnosed with PP a week after my son's birth, and it wasn't until he was about a year old that I truly felt I loved him and had bonded with him. I feel I missed out on his first year of life, so sad.
I too have put on 3.5 stone and have just started Weight Watchers to try and lose it. 5lb gone so far. I'm hoping I'll be back to my normal size in 6 months too.

Thanks for the welcome. When I feel brave enough and have the time I might post my story.
Winegirl, well done on the 5lb loss. I lost another 2lb this week so half a stone down now. I have a whole freezer full of WW meals - they are really good.

Hi Andrea
Just wanted to say how beautiful and inspiring your montage is. Your story is proof that bonding and love for your child can return even months, years after going through such a traumatic illness. I also suffered from PP so really understand how much you must have endured as a family and how long the recovery can be. Thank you for sharing your story and I wish you much more love and happiness as your little boy grows up even more!

Hi Andrea, I posted this comment to you on facebook but thought I'd write here too. I showed my husband your montage last night and he was really moved, and it had me with tears in my eyes again. We both really relate to what you and your husband went through, as the experience of PP was similar for us. You have inspired me to capture my experience in a media format too - I was thinking maybe a photo story book, you know the ones you can get published and printed online. Well done for this again, you're an inspiration and I'm sure when your LO is older he will love to watch this again and again, and he'll appreciate what an amazing brave mummy he has.

Hi Andrea, I know I've asked on Facebook before but I can't find the message, what are the names and artists of the songs in your montage? Thanks. N x

Hi BWP, Thank you for your lovely comments in your previous note. I really look forward to seeing/reading your inspirational story if you do put something together. The track I used on this one is 'Amazing by Janelle'' www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-xmLD85M8oThe first track I used is 'Roads by Portishead'. This one had copyright issues but they checked it & let me continue to use it, yay! Both tracks just seemed really apt to me. I really didn't want to use 'Crazy by Gnarls Barkley' which was no.1 when my son was born!!! lol Take care loads, Axx
