just somewhere for me to put down my thoughts I'll start with my post from last night that I put on my hello thread
not feeling too great to be honest littlelotty i got very low last night and threatened to end it, ended up cutting myself again which I am not proud of. M was really worried last night as he was at his house and didn't know what state I was in.
Once I have got the kids back to school I am going to go back to the doctors as I am currently on no meds at all and i have now admitted to M that I think I need to go back on them he doesn't want me back on the lithium due to how it made me last time but I won't be allowed back on it till baby has been born anyway so it will be straight forward anti depressants for now.

Hi Lou
I hope the meds are good for you! It is good that he is clearly monitoring you on it too. By the time the 19th comes you should have a rough idea how the Sertraline works for you.
Keep us posted with how you are doing.

Well i flipped today at my eldest son, he played up coming home from school, so i put him on the strap to control him, and shouted at him i also threatened to smack him he is so tired from school he wouldn't listen to anyone, so i have now put him to bed till his dad comes and he can deal with him

Sorry you have had a hard time with your eldest son, i am sure he was probably tired and as you are low it is never a good combination - i should know. I know that my worst days with my LO are when i am stressed, anxious and not in a good place and it makes it seem so much harder to manage them. I am sure he will be fine hun, try and get some rest and chill out and then tackle it again when you are calmer.
Hope the rest of your day is ok.
Take care

went back to the doctors on monday and he was concerned at the amount of side affects i have been having from taking them in a morning so has asked me to start taking them on a night instead to see if that helps he's a little concerned also that the perinatal team haven't yet been in touch so i think he is chasing it up
my biggest trigger is the fact the kids play up when they are here with just me when dh is here they won't do it

Yeah my LO does that too, bloody nightmare for me, but little miss angel when daddy walks through the door... I think kids do it to most of their mums...
Hope changing the routine of the meds helps.. Let us know how you get on with it??

well a lot has happened since i last posted
I am going back on the mood stabilisers as they are saying it is bipolar 2 they are also referring me back to the CMT for long term support and also want me to go to counselling. The downside of all this is that as i am on meds when baby is born it will have withdrawl symptoms due to getting some of the doseage from me, so have been warned i could have an extremely cranky baby for a few weeks
On the downside my dad has been taken into hospital with suspected cancer after feeling unwell for a while and as i am 300 miles away i feel a little helpless right now
