Hi All,
Big thanks for all the support you gave me when I needed it. Lottie is now three and I have been medication free now since may and feel great!
I also have a new job as a parenting and family support manager so as lots of women have said this illness has really helped me change my focus and I now feel in a really strong position to support other struggling families. So from the worst of situations some good can come.
I am so so glad I got through my horrendous time and hope any other women who read this and I know how hard it is to ever imagine a happy ending you will get there in time.
Take care and much love
V x

Hello Vicky
it's fantastic to hear you are so well. Your job sounds amazing - I'm sure you'll be brilliant at it. Even though this illness is so dreadful it does make you more compassionate.
All thebest

Hello Vicky,
So great to hear you have been doing so well! Yes, it would appear that many of us change focus after PNI - myself included. I am a believer that every dark cloud has a silver lining, and your job now is the silver lining. It really is fantastic, you are a gam.
Thank you for updating us. I love to hear positive recovery stories. All the best for the future x
Love

That's fantastic that you now have a job helping other families. I'm sure the PP has helped with being compassionate and empathectic towards other family's struggles.
I would like to feel good comes out of my experience with PP one day too, although I'm not in a hurry to change jobs just yet. I have an idea of what I'd like to do (I've thought about it for a few years now prior to baby and PP) but it requires extensive re-training and lots of money and time and energy so it's on the back-burner for now. But one day I hope to get there.

Hey Vicky
So pleased to hear your update - isn't it amazing how many women after PP go on to do something supporting other women/families? I'm really touched by the strength of the human spirit to turn life-shattering stuff into positivity for the future.
Love, N x
