Hi guys,
What a few days I've had. Firstly horses and torrential rain storms, with 3 small kids dont mix! I've been soaked more times than I can remember. To top it off they have fenced past my gate so have to use the back gate which is about 10 mins along the track. Yesterday I took them inside in the pouring rain and back out in the pouring rain.
Scott has a cheat infection and also has now been diagnosed with asthma. He has an inhaler and an aero-chamber. It has made a world of difference he is back to his happy little self. He doesn cough near so much and isnt wheezing all the time. He actually sits happily again.
Glow bugs are ace!! Steven loved his and for about 6m it went to bed every night
Yip think we are the three baby gang lol. Steven is 4, stuart is 2 and Scott is 7m.
How is ure wee one now bean?
Ure lot coming along ok Monica?

Hi Sarah Its good they've diagnosed his asthma, both Dan and Joe have it but we never knew with joe until he stayed at the out-laws one night and we woke middle of, his dad banging on the door, saying joe was on a nebuliser in hospital, wot a nightmare, hes not so bad now but when he gets cold it always goes to his chest, and he's feeling better cause he's just arguing with me about tidying his room. Marthas doing my head in on a night, but this isnt my section, and im not breastfeeding either anymore so will have a rant in my own diary. I think you do a fab job having three youngsters and still managing to breastfeed at 7 months. Take care, lorra love xxx

Hi,
Glad to hear that they do get alot better from this. Just now he seems to be really wheezy until I give him the inhaler. Hes actually really good getting it and makes feeding alot easier coz he can breathe better. Doesnt choke near as much.
I'll have a peek in ure diary and catch up xx

Hi Have they given you the brown inhaler too, the preventer, should stop him needing the other one as much, maybe this was why he was waking so much in the night for a feed? xx

Hi
How's the sleeping going? Glad Scott's doing better. When my eldest was little every sign of a cold and it would go to his chest - touch would he appears to have largely grown out of it.
My three are well - baby turned 1 yesterday - had a lovely little party but all was hard work. My eldest has had 2 huge tantrums two day srunning - he is 10! He's a teenager before his time (he's 10) and also moody at school. His teacher was quite concerned he wasn't enjoying school, but he does; he's just got bad attitude!
Take care
Monica

Bad attitude, lol. U crack me up Monica! Glad to hear they are all ok. Bet the party was hard going we had one for the boys last year, not time this year what with scott being born, and it was chaos!
No he didnt get a brown one, I did wonder why too. I do see a diff with it but the inhaler but not as much as I had expected. I have been thinking maybe its still the chest infection so not to be so expectant. But I've to go back in a week or two so if its no better a few days after the antibiotics are finnished i will go back. I'm going to make an app with the same doc again. As for waking so much, yes it could be as he now sleeps right thro from 7.30 until 5.30. So I cant complain about that!
xx

Hi everyone, just wanted to apologise for not being around, hope its going ok Stevensmummy and Monica, Sorry.
I have a quick update too which i was going to post 2 weeks ago and totally forgot. Anyway just to let you know I start the Breastfeeding Peer Support trainng on Tuesday, forms all filled in apart from crb which ll do tomorrow. Its a 7 week course with home work to do too, Martha is booked into the creche-god help them, she'll be runnng the wing before the month is out! So anyway, 7 weeks, followed my a chld protection course and then i will be qualified to start volunteering for ladies in Hull, they said they are hopng to set up a support phoneline as well as the ongoing home and hospital visits so maybe I could start with the phones - I also suggested email support, like what is set up here, cause i know some ladies cant get out or dont want strangers in their homes, she sounded really keen, the Manager who runs the course.
Im bit nervous but going to push myself to get there cause I know its somethng i can do and help others too.
My main priority in booking this training was to be more educated and informed to help out this section, didnt actually realise i would be doing it for real too, scary! So hopefully we will soon have a qualified breastfeeding peer supporter to help any ladies out there who just need to know they are not alone, and there are ways to help.
Luv to all bean x
