Shattered again. All I did was go cuddle the cat and I was out cold . To be honest I'm not really doing all that much, just struggling with the heat and what does need doing. Thinking about whats coming up is tiring too lol. You're right I am feeling much better just wish I didn't get a high everytime I change meds, coming back down is a real bummer. Jason has got the doc's tonight but other than that I'm planning on chilling. Our tv was taken away on Monday for repairing so all we have now is our small bedroom tv and it's really too small to watch or play on so an early night is in order I think, again lol. OH is back at the docs next week, this will be the 5th different doc he's seen (the last one is on holiday). I'm hoping they will now refer him to the hospital. It's bladder problems he's got at the moment, the blood test was for his prostate. He's in alot of pain and it's been going on since beginning of May but all the docs just keep saying he is too young for these symptoms and have given him some tabs which have helped a little bit but we don't know whats causing it all.

Hi
Would your oh insisit on being referred to a urlogist? If they don't know what's up and it's still ongoing then it's time to see a specialist and I think he has every right to demand it. Poor him and poor you.
Glad you got a nap in - you need it. Hopefully once kids break up you can chill out.

Hi Giz
I was thinking the same thing, think he should push to see a urologist, just because it is not common in his age group, does not mean that he does not have a problem. At least if the PSA was normal the likelihood of it being something nasty is very low
Dont worry about being knackered I am too, constantly sleep about 12 hours a day manage about 2 -4 hours of activity a day - think it is being pregnant.

Thats excatly what we intend to do. I think it's about time he was seen at the hosp. I'm sure the tiredness is due to the pregnancy but I don't think that hubby understands that at all. His answer is that perhaps I need to do more during the day because I'm not sleeping well at night. . Anyway, Jason has been seen by my doc who tried to test his hearing, typical Jason tried to guess the right answers but thankfully the doc saw right through it. He definatly has problems with his hearing so has been referred to ENT at the hosp. At this point we can't tell if it's his glue ear come back or if it's a general hearing problem. I'm just hoping it gets checked out quickly as he moves into junior school in Sept and is already struggling at school. He has also been discharged from speech and language therapy this year so if he needs to go back we only have a short time to refer him ourselves, else he has to go through the whole process again. Oscars night tonight. Got to get the kids bathed and Jodies hair under some sort of control and nails painted and dinner done all between getting home from school at 3.30 and going back out at 5.30 fun.

Glad it helped Kat, there's nothing better than knowing your not the only one. Last night was good. They both got 2 medals. Jason's were for Class effort and Endeavour and Jodie's were for highly commended in literacy and continuous excellent behaviour (we're not all that sure how she got that one It all went quite smoothy for once. I got the kids bathed and pratted about doing Jodies hair and nails while OH cooked dinner then helped get them dressed while I done my typical and put on nail varnish before getting dressed which then smudged all over the place does it notice I'm not very lady like. The kids didn't have to be in school til 10.30 this morning but me being the meanie I am took them in at normal time anyway lol. Their oscars night didn't finish too late but the older one finished about 9pm I think so it makes sence to let them come in late. I've got a new rabbit hutch supposed to be arriving today sometime and we need to collect all the stuff from mamas and papas on Monday so I need to get my room sorted big time. Thankfully the heat has gone down a bit now and I'm not feeling quite so drained today so hopefully I'll get a few bits done, so long as I don't get side tracked which is pritty much a dead cert with me.

Definately particularly when from you Giz. Yesterday sounds great, you must be amazed by Jodies award, I know lots of kids who are angels out of the home and very proud of her and Jason - I would be if they were my kids.
Nail Varnish shockiing, I dont think I have a bottle, gave up on that sort of thing years ok.
How did the bedroom tidying up go? When do you have your appointment with the anaethetist, did I tell you mine was really useful although hard - I had it two weeks ago

I'd completely forgotten about the anesatist to be honest. I have no idea when I'm supposed to see them. The Psycothereapist hasn't been in touch either and that was with the consultant chasing her up. My next appointment is a week today for another attempt at a 3D scan and then the following Thursday for growth scan, consultant appointment and the dreaded blood tests The bedroom tidying, well, I kinda got a few things done mainly loads and loads of ironing. OH is going to help me with it tomorrow, he wants to go through everything, storage boxes, wardrobe, draws etc the lot. I'm knackered just thinking about it, going to be a long hard day. He also wants to try and move the furniture around a bit too so we can fit the cot in without having to rearrange when the time comes and so we can get the kids bikes through there and out into the garden without having to lift them over the bed. Yes thats right the back door is in our bedroom, I swear whoever designed this place was drunk. Speaking of which, I seem to have managed to get some attention from the housing association. I rang them a couple of days back ranting about how nothing has been done and my sons health is getting worse and we will have a new baby soon and basically saying I will not move the family back into the living room to sleep for yet another winter. I think that worked The first guy I spoke to tried to get in touch with the contractors and ended up saying they were going to ring me. I told him they wouldn't so would call back myself ina couple of days. When I called back I got through to a woman who was plastered with the same sob story + the pni on top of that. She phoned the contractors who said the eariest they had an appointment was wednesday week but would see what they could do. She then called back later saying they would try and fit us in Friday but if not it would be that Wednesday and they were sorry they couldn't get to us any earlier. Then the original bloke phoned me to see if the contractors had been in touch, so I now have 2 people chasing up the contractors and the survayer ;D In the meantime, our tv has been fixed and will be coming back this Wednesday which is the same day the kids break up from school. So still really busy. Also had the kids school reports back yesterday and they were really good. Sounds like them too ie. Jodie needs to get on with the task in hand and resist the need to chat to her friends lol. and Jason easily goes off topic and gets distracted. Most of the points for improvement for Jason are related to his hearing so thats good and Jodie is just above average on a few things. Turns out she was only 1 day sick and without that she would have got a plaque at oscurs, never mind.

These appointments drive me up the wall, I am about to nuke someone about mine its just too much. How did todays bedroom tidying go? Well done on ranting, you so need to get that sorted, I want to come round and rant at them for you.
Good luck with the 3d scan on sat, hopefully the little wiggle monster will be more helpful this time

Got a fair bit done this weekend. Still need to finish the bedroom but we cleared out all the rubbish from the garden, that was 3 trips to the dump, built the new rabbit hutch and dismantled the old one (that was fun, I can do alot of damage with a hammer and chizle lol) Finished off staining the picnic bench and generally tidyied up a bit. Think I've got all the washing done and most of the ironing too and cleaned out the fish tank. Just need to find some space for the baby stuff now so we can pick it up tomorrow.
It's just occured to me the difference from this time last year. Oscars night was really hard and I spent most of it in tears yet this year was completly different and I'm looking forward to the summer hols now.

OMG what a day. Hubby managed to get out of work early dispite doing overtime as well so we had all the potential to have everything done by a sensible time But as usual thats not how things work with us. Went to waterfields to get a goal set for the kids from argos a huge supply of medicines from Boots for me and Jason and Mamas and papas to pick up baby stuff. Thats where it started to go wrong. The woman in there was useless, messed up our payment, brought half our order down then buggered off to serve someone else and then finally when we thought everything was sorted, I relised she had given us the wrong car seat. By this time we had already left and was dropping off the cot to be stored at the in-laws. So back we went again all of a panic coz the one we ordered was well and truely out of date by now and I knew there was no chance of ordering another one. Thankfully turns out there were 2 orders under our surname (another customer and us), they hadn't collected yet so our car seat was still there. We dropped all that home then had to go back out to B&Q and mothercare. Once again I managed to attract the attention of the worst sales staff member in the shop who totally confused us until 2 other people came along and sorted out what we wanted and the fact that it was in stock. So thats the crib matteress sorted. Picked up a parasol and stand from B&Q and by the time we got home it was already 2pm. Typical us, the stand doesn't fit the parasol but by now we couldn't be bothered to do anything about it and it does do the job after all. I then had to rush out to pick up my mum who was collecting the kids for me so I could go with OH for his doc appointment. Dropped her at school picked up OH and relised I hadn't given mum the keys, so back to school we went to drop them off then battle through the traffic to the docs. Thankfully and rather unsually we managed to park nearby and the doc was running on time. Another locum. We already knew his blood tests had come back negative and his tummy test wasn't back yet. This doc listened and finally came up with a diagnosis of Overactive bladder syndrome, she has told him to up his dose and given him his citalopram back. If it doesn't improve by his next appointment in 2 weeks he is being referred to hosp. Also picked up Jasons hosp referral for his hearing which is now booked for end of Aug and when we got home there was an appointment for him to see an orthodontics. Things are on a roll now. Kids also came home with certificates from school. Jodie has her 100% attendance for the last term and her silver award and Jason managed a 95-99% attendance certificate and a 1 star award for his times tables.
So all in all a very busy and stressful day but lots of positives.

Still going strong here. The kids broke up from school on Wednesday and Jason came home with a Silver award as well so he is well pleased I got my wii back from repair the other day and have re-started Animal crossing for the umpteenth time, how sad am I lol. and the TV came back too so OH is happy. The summer hols have started pritty well so far. I like them being off school as it means I can wake up properlly and take my time to get going. I've been getting up much earlier and waking easier thanks to the meds which has really helped and knowing I don't have to rush straight out is great. The idea is for us to meet OH from work on the bikes each day and then walk to the shops if we need to so petrol should be alot cheaper for a few weeks. Jodie being the outdoor one decided to go straight out in the garden early yesterday morning. I of course let her make as much noise as she wanted and was soon joined by Jason. I'll get the neighbours back for keeping my family awake late at night lol. The net on the trampoline broke again and I've got fed up with it now so ended up spending about an hour in the garden in my PJs dissmantaling the netting and poles from the trampoline. It's made a big space difference, just need to get the bottom half of the poles off and start cutting back those rotten trees that overhang and we should have a nice area for the kids to play in. In the meantime they put their pocket money together and decided to buy a tent. Managed to get a proper 2 person pop up adult tent in Tesco for £15 plus a battery powered camping light and 2 sleeping bags each for £5. I haven't seen the kids since They were quite insistant on sleeping in there last night until the thunder started. We have said they can sleep out there Sat night but I suspect they will be back in as soon as it gets dark. They even had breakfast out there on the picnic bench this morning, so looks like I'm in for a quiet few weeks. I also managed to get the draws under the bed sorted and all the bedding, still got loads to do but can see an improvement already.

Hi Giz you sound amazingly energetic, so agree on the getting up in your own time thing as I am a little more stable at the moment I am finding the same thing that if I ca wake up naturally and get out of bed when I am ready the day starts totally differently.
I love what is happening with your kids and the tent, so remember doing the same thing with my sisters when I was a kid.
Good luck with the scan tomorrow, I have my next one in three weeks, but that is just to see where the placenta is.
