Another text this evening from Kim - I think she has had a tough day full of lots of emotions and tears and worry, but this evening her words were better and she is settled on the ward - the last monitor was, she said, not brilliant, but not bad enough to cause the doctors to want to deliver tonight. I think a lot of you will have seen her Facebook updates throughout the day so are aware of how she and baby have been. As soon as I hear any more I will of course let you all know.

Good morning! Just to say Kim has been doing well and baby is holding it's own. This morning she is back on the monitors and things are not so great, so I will keep you all up to date with what happens later in the day. Kim seems to be staying strong and she know our thoughts and love are with her x

i am new to this site and trying to get to know a few people, I have just read a few of your entries and I just wanted to say that I am thinking of you, your baby and your family. What a stressful time for you. Try to keep calm and be a positive as you can. I really hope everything goes well. Hugs and prayers lucyb x

In Kim's own words, "for all of you who have been praying and keeping your fingers crossed for us, don't give up just yet. They have secured little J a cot and I will be delivering later today".
She has also said that the baby has put on about 200g and they want to deliver whilst he or she is ready to fight. Kim sounds incredible considering the emotions and fears and enormity of what is happening. She has Stephen with her and he has accommodation there for the next few weeks.
As soon as I hear any more news I will of course post again.

I know how much Giz/Kim would want to tell you all this herself and so I feel very honoured and extremely humbled to let you know that Janey Rosie Lily was born earlier today weighing 1lb 7oz. Baby Janey was trying to pull tubes out and had a cry. Her heartbeat is strong and she is breathing by herself. About an hour and a half ago Stephen had been back to see her and she was still doing well and Kim hoped to see her a little later as she was back on the ward. Again, Kim is astonishingly strong and has told me she is fine. If you post any messages here I will of course read them all out to her when we next speak.

thinking of you and your family tonight, I know she has a slog ahead of her to get through the next few weeks, but she is in one of the best places in the world and with your and Steves strong genes she will fight everything.
