Hi Girls,
Giz and Janey are both doing well, Janey is taking food every hour and looks alert and beautiful. They are still in cambridge. She regained her birth weight, although I think she may have lost a little today. They remain in my thoughts during this important time. well done Giz
Love

She is doing really well don't know all the details. But she has moved hospitals getting closer to home and when she puts on a little more weight will be in a hospital very close to home for a little while.
I'll try and find someone who can update you with more details.
But its all good.

Hi everyone. Thank you all so much for the messages and to those of you who have been keeping others informed. Updating on here is still on my todo list but I had to share this with you all. Janey is now 1 month old, still in NICU but at her second hospital and will soon be moved to SCBU in our local hospital. This photo was taken today.

Thanks Ladies.
I don't know where to start. I despertaly want to write everything down but thats 7 -8 weeks worth and would take me an age. The important thing really is that Janey is still doing really well. She was moved to Watford yesterday and is now classed as Special Care which is a huge step from where we started. I'm on an absolute high over it all. I really hated her time in Luton dispite some of the nurses being lovely. I was starting to loose the plot big time.
Silly little things were stopping her from moving and she was 5 weeks old already so not having her home was upsetting me more and more. I am also surrounded by new babies at the moment at school and on the estate.
The kids got to see her last night for the first time in ages (Jason 3 weeks and Jodie 2 weeks). Today I'm taking my in-laws to meet her for the first time. It has to be noted in here they have been brilliant through all this. Yes MIL still gets on my nerves with her constant yaking about other people and not always listening but they really have been extremly helpful so I'm so glad they can finally see her.
My Aunt and Uncle have come over from Germany to see her as well so they are coming to Watford with my Nan Tomorrow. Then we have an ever increasing queue.
Before she was born we asked Emma to be godmother and she hasn't seen her yet although her godfather has and is also keen to revisit. My other Aunt hasn't seen her either and there are numerous friends as well as my parents wanting to visit as well. Think I need to get a diary lol.

I thought it was time for an update.
I am rooming in tomorrow and she is coming home with me on Tuesday. That will make her 11weeks old. She will also be on perminant oxygen for the time being but it's only a small amount so not too bad. We had 6 oxygen cylinders delivered last week and had loads of training, doesn't seem to be too difficult.
The next 2 days are going to drag so bad.
