Hi Karen, and welcome. Trust me, no one will judge you here, lots and lots of women have suffered with the horrible thoughts... you are certainly not alone. The biggest thing to remember is they are just thoughts...they cannot harm you. I am sure some of the other ladies who have suffered or are suffering will be along later to offer you their support and advice. In the meantime, please keep talking to us here x

Hi and welcome
You may have read me write to others that these are punishment thoughts. You brain is thinking the worse thing it can and then because you are feeling anxious etc you brain locks on to it and keeps panicking.
I used to feel that I wanted to smash my babies head against a wall. Can't think of anything worse. They will get better I promise. Have you been referred for cbt?

Hi
These awful thoughts are a symptom of pni and do not reflect on you as a person. I understand how distressing they must be. Try some distraction techniques. Put lastic band on ur wrist when a thought pops into ur head, flick it and it will distract you. Or say 'stop, aloud, r clap ur hands.
Cbt is good. Do try telling ur therapist you are having upsetting thoughts even if u do not say what they are.
There is a dreaded thought section. Maybe that's what u were trying to find.
