Thanks guys, things have lifted which is great. I have been lucky enough to be seeing a therapist who specialises in NLP. It is something I feel a real affinity with. It really helps with the being kind to yourself training.

Hey ladies, things are going ok at this end thank you. Ups and downs but not so pronounced. NLP is really good because it is all about visualising a positive outcome for situations that you get anxious about. I call it using my marshmallow mind which means keeping the contents of my head sweet and soft rather than hard and sharp. Weird I know but it is helping. I found CBT a bit too logical and self punishing if I didn't achieve the tasks.

So been back at work this week starting my phased return. It is amazing how much it has terrified me and made me feel emotionally very vulnerable. I am working really hard to not let the panic take over. I suppose it is all about not getting too anxious about what happened before when I went back. Just need to keep calm and carry on!

Been quite jittery and panicky today after work intro. I know it is totally irrational but I just get myself in such a tizzy. It is like I switch on the self-doubt button and let it run free. Working hard to stay grounded but struggling today :-(

It's a nugget when that happens . Try and distract urself and don't dwell it. I get like that at times but try and remember it's this illness and u can do it. When ru at work next ? Is there someone u could talk to someone u can lean on if u feel like this? X

Have you thought about what is behind the self doubt? Most women I know suffer from it

Been back at work for a week now. I love my job but it is rocky adjusting to the change. I find I get terribly panicky at times. I am working hard on my 'marshmallow mentality' being soft and sweet to myself!
