She’s in her own room now and sleeps well most of the time. She is still quite noisy and wakes me and my partner multiple times some nights although resettles herself.
I’ll give yoga a try.
Am moving house in two weeks and am hoping a change of environment, new bed and new start will help sleep come back

So pleased you are managing to deal with the thoughts better. That shows how far you have come! When you are awake in the night are you finding things are going through your mind and that's keeping you awake or is it more just a total lack of ability to sleep?x

I think it’s just a total lack of ability to stay asleep. I think I have just got into the habit of waking for my daughter. Am hoping at some point it returns.
She woke me hourly for 4 months and that’s what I do now so I think it must be linked

Those habits are a bugger to break but can be done! What do you do when you wake up? X

Normally just try and get comfy and go back to sleep. Is there anything you recommend trying?

I do normally check the time. Maybe I should stop doing that

I find if I lie there thinking about how I can't sleep I feel worse and then struggle to sleep more. I get up and go into another room to read for 20 mins or so (or in bed if it won't disturb your partner) and in that 20 mins I don't think about he fact I'm not asleep or that I need to sleep and then I just try again after but if after 10 mins I'm still awake get up and read for another 20 mins or so. Give it a go - eventually you may find that you know how long You need and that half an hour will do it xx

I attend an insomnia clinic and I was advised to give myself up to 15 mins to fall asleep when I wake up. If I don't fall asleep , i get up and leave the bedroom and do something else but not look at screens for up to 11/2 hr or whenever I feel sleepy. And repeat if necessary.
No caffeine after 2pm.
I've got another session coming up so will let you know how I get onx
