Working Mum, Dad at home full-time

Hi, This is my first time on this page.
I have two kids aged 3 1/2 and 21 months.
I have to work full-time, my husband is at home with the kids.

I am feeling quite tearful a lot of the time and feel anxious and uptight about nothing. Because of this I find it difficult to bond with other mothers and am could do with some morale support. Its not easy being a working mum, even if dad is at home full-time.

I'm not surprised you are feeling tearful and anxious - it must be awful to leave your two little ones. Going back to work is a big step and I'm sure you know, once you become a mum your priorities change totally. I have to make the decision about returning to work and am totally in a state about it - it has really got me down. I cannot imagine how hard it must be to work full-time and have two children.

You are probably also very tired as working full-time and being a mum must be exhausting - so give yourself a pat on the back for doing so well. Have you suffered with Post Natal Depression in the past or do you still suffer? I know what you mean about feeling uptight about nothing - you almost sort of feel numb but just don't know why.
