Hi Everyone
As you may have noticed 'hopefuls' status on here has now changed from senior member to Moderator.
Hopeful has kindly offered to 'officially' give some of her time to the forum and as you may know as a self help group we rely on sufferers and past sufferers of PNI doing this to keep the forum going.
The criteria to become a moderator on this forum is:
:)To have posted 70 posts or over
:)To have been a member for over 3 months
:)T0 have shown a commitment to supporting others
:)To have demonstrated a non- judgmental and caring attitude to those who have or suffer PNI
This is the short version but if anyone wants the full policy - please email me for a copy.
A moderator is expected to commit to coming on the forum at least once a week to respond to posts.
However this is not set in stone as we understand moderators will have periods when they have other commitments or personal issues that prevent them coming on the forum
This job can be done at the level that the individual moderator has the time and energy to commit to
So for some it may mean welcoming new members, daily or weekly and making sure every post has a reply and offering a caring but very personal response when your can--
Right through to taking on a specific knowledge area such as employment, childcare, medication, childbirth, alternative therapies , counseling
according to your skills, interest, knowledge and expertise
Basically you can make of the role what you want
Anyway Hopeful has offered to join us and I look forward to her participation..
All the best
