Just wondering ... I'm currently thinking of complaining to my local NHS trust about the rubbish treatment I received when giving birth. THe doctor involved was so insensitive and I feel I just have to let him know how upset I am about how I was treated and how traumatised I was for a long time. Even now I get the odd flshback.
Has anyone else complained? Get anywhere?
I'm not after compensation or anything - just for this Dr to consder his actions and words before anything, esp in fron tof very vulnerable patients.

I'm not trying to put you off by adding this nut you will probably find it very hard to complain the the doctor involved as they rotate through out different departments within the hospital and also move to other hospitals every six months. I do think its worth trying and as long as you know his name you should be able to do that nobody should make you feel the way you did so Go for it girl.

You're probaly right angel, I've probably missed the boat, but there was something nice about writing a letter and expressing my frustration (controlled!) and sending it off. I'm not evenb hoping for a reply but think it did me good to write and send it off.

I have found writing letters therapeutic, glad it helped you.
It's really hard when the 'professionals' are insensitive isn't it?
I had this problem more with my first - I just wasn't expecting it
