Qu. Changing meds. Feeling great?

Hi all, I have a question. I have been on Fluxotine since Aug. The past couple of months I felt down and could not sleep so have been taking prescribed sleeping tablets too. Dr suggested I come off Fluxotine and try something different. To do this I had to stop my meds 4 - 7 days before starting the new meds. Dr said to expect to feel rough. Well its now day 5 and since I stopped taking the meds I felt my old self, have been sleeping much better. Has anyone else felt like this? Can I hope this is recovery? I'm reluctant to start the new meds unless I start to feel bad again. Any suggestions more than welcome. Love carol xoxoxo
PS - we were broken into on Monday whilst we were in the house and it didn't faze me at all. Hubby was really shook up. Is that right?

Carol,

I'd be inclined to mention it to your doctor that you would like a break from the meds as you feel fine at the moment, and see what he suggests. I stopped taking meds a year ago and my doc prescribed me herbal alternatives.

So sorry to hear about the burglary... how shitty is that, I hope nothing was taken. Good that you handled it well, a sure sign of recovery imo.

Thanks Scarlett - they took the Camcorder which had footage of little one but I'm thankful that was all. Hubby disturbed them so they ran off.
