My OH and I have been trying for our second without much success. I conceived first time with my son - no problems. The problem ths time I feel is that I may have a hormone imbalance caused by or which attributed to the PNI. I think I am conceiving each month as I get all the pregnancy symptoms and have done a a couple of early tests but it seems to end a few days after my period is due.
I wonder if anyone else has had a similar problem after having PNI? It is getting me down and I feel if it is a hormone imbalance it may be what is underpinning a full recovery from this bloody illness. I have a hunch my progesterone levels are low?
Thanks, Love Clareyx

Hi Clarey
When i was diagnosed with PCOS they gave me blood tests to check all my hormone levels to indicate what the problem was. Perhaps you could ask your GP for tests to rule anything out? But I wouldn't worry too much at this stage, it can take months for couples who are trying to conceive on average, try to relax and enjoy the trying for a while x

Thanks Hopeful and Winegirl, I went to see a gp who wont do any blood tests until we have been trying for a year I am trying some Agnus castus to try and regulate my hormone levels. The gp thought I am missing the progesterone boost at the end of the cycle which makes sense to me as it fits with my problems. It's so hard going to groups and seeing everyone else who have either had more babies by now or are pregnant. I know it sounds totally selfish and I feel ashamed to moan about it really as I already have my lovely son and there are those who are unable to have one.. but you can't fight nature I guess. If I am being honest I feel like I missed out on so much of my son as a baby suffering with PNI so I would like another chance to enjoy it PNI-free (fingers crossed Love Clareyxx
