There is a recycling company near me who help charities who collect the plastic milk bottle tops.
Would anyone be interested in saving these and sending them to me so I could take them and eventually make some money for the charity.
It takes a lot of tops to make money but if enough people do it then we could make a little.
Anyone think it is a good idea?

Is it just milk bottle tops or do they take all plastic bottle tops? we drink alot of bottled water here.

It is only the milk bottle top that they collect. I have loads of the others here too lol. If you want to send them once a week or once a month I am not fussed. Have been told that if I want to wait till I have 5 or 6 bin bags full they will collect. Luckily I have a big shed  I am going to send some letters round to local businesses and schools to see if they will collect too. Also going to put something up on our local Freecycle Well it says 500kg gets us £25 so I am going to collect 1 kg and see how many it is then we can see how much milk we need to drink Liz x |

Slow and steady I almost have a carrier bag on my own lol We need a couple of black bags before they will pick up but we will get there. Once I have court case and everything out of the way I am going to be throwing myself back into trying to raise funds for this place. If anyone has any they would like to send to stop it cluttering up their kitchen then feel free to pm me for addy. Might as well clutter my already cluttered kitchen Liz x |
