Oops ;D ...... Just noticed that the link I gave for the book expires after 7 downloads, so to get it you will have to click on 'sign up' and give your own email address, and the link will be sent to you so you can download the book yourself. Well worth it I think, especially if you are looking for a distraction technique to stop anxiety and obsessive thoughts.
Hugs

Scarlet - know you're on the move at the mo', but thought I'd bump this thread as from next week I'm doing some EFT for the next 6 weeks - my therapist swears by it

First day of EFT - I think I will grow to really rate this. Like any 'discipline', it takes practice - but I would also say that you do not need to actually believe in it, for it to work. But you DO need to be able to accept yourself, which can be very hard with low self esteem. It is a very good distraction from a psychological point of view, some elements of meditation + the phyiscal sensation of tapping your meridian points (which, I think are to do with the energy flow in your body). I believe it can work for emotional and associated physical problems - it really is worth a try. I certainly felt very much more relaxed after my session today. It is very good for triggers apparantly and 'unblocking' the emotional pile up you might have in your body. I am only on day 1, but understand much more about it now and will keep you updated

Good luck with it H.
I have so many backlogs I think I would cause a huge traffic jam, circumferencing (blimey that was a word and a half given the day I have had)~!!! the whole of the M25!!!!!
Think I might really have to give this a go.... does it take much time out during the day? with my two around 24/7 not sure I would want them to see as they would ask too many questions that I would not have the answers too right now.
