Last night my son decided to decorate the new (very light in colour) suite in our lounge - with red felt tip pen. Every cushion bears his trademark 'drawings'... He was told off and sent to bed. Boy, did he scaramble upstairs - he even got into bed fully dressed with his sandals on and did not even twitch until 9 o'clcock this morning.  What kind and loving parents we are  Struggled to keep a straight face though, lol. |

Oh my God H!! I would have done my nut!! How the hell you gonna get that off the walls??
I think its great that you can make light of it! I am far too uptight and would be breaking the overdraft further to get some tins of paint!! LOL x

How chilled are you, I'd have had a fit and would have had the upholstery cleaners in at great expense asap!

Can you get one of those stain devils Hopeful? I'm the same as you, would have been angry, but just turned the cushions around. My eldest got his scissors to our new living room carpet once and dragged them making a couple of huge cuts. He was an angel compared to our LO, I really could not expect to have anything decent until our little 'House-wrecker' is around ten ... and nothing white ;D

It took my husband exactly 7 days to shampoo the suite - I clean the rest of the house and stuck it out! It may have helped that he wanted to watch the football...

Did you use a proper carpet shampoo machine?? I need advice on sofa cleaning as LO has made a right mess of mine with juice, chocolate etc...
