Hi Nicola
Sorry, think I have just answered most of this in your other thread. If you like, keep this thread going here.
Sounds to me like you are doing everything absolutely right. She will get better, and with your support, hopefully sooner rather than later x
Hang in there babes x

Hi
I replied to yoru other thread, but how long has your sister been in hospital. Presumabley she is on meds, how long has she been on them for and what have her symptoms been if you don't mind me asking.
For instance, with many anitds, you can start off feeling worse for a few weeks before you feel better. sometimes it can take a few goes to find the right meds that work.
You are giving yoru sister top advice. Unfortunately if she is feeling low it is hard to see any positive effects and that life will get better. But I'm sure she will.
Does the hospital know how she is feeling? What have they said about her progress?
You are a top sister and she is so lucky to have you.
All the best
Monica

i spent the day with my sister yesterday as she was convinced it was the day she was going to kill herself!!! she thought that because her daughter was going out for her first injections and it was a sign. anyways we got throught the day pretty well by chatting and having a rest together. i took some pages i had printed from here and she enjoyed reading them!!!! i also got her a book by the agony aunt denise richardson, its a great book (i read it in a day!!!) i reccomend it to everyone as its not complicated and you can read it in any order!! will be going again on saturday and plan to go every other day after that. im tired but have to do it!!! im going to start a counselling course in january so i can help others nxx

Hi Nicola
Wow you are doing such a fab job with your sister hun! Well done! I am so pleased you have decided to undertake counselling from this - i believe everything has a silver lining, my own experiences of PNI have led me to quit my job and train as a phsyciatric nurse.
Dont forget you still need support too, and we are here for you x
