I've posted a message in the general area too but I just wanted to say how much better I am feeling now, and how, after all my worrying about my health, I can look back and realise the extent of my fears and how PNI can make you feel.

I think back to how I was a few months ago and cannot believe that was the same person - I have had investigative ops for my ovary pains and everything is sorted (polycystic ovary, all ok apart from that) and that has made such a difference to my life.

Having been on anti-depressants for 10 months now I am feeling more than ready to come off them and while that's a bit scary, I somehow know I will be fine.

I just wanted to thank everyone in this thread and on this site for all their support - particularly Winegirl - you gave such comfort! I only hope that some of my posts will help others.

All I can say is I wouldn't wish PNI on anyone - only now do I understand how debilitating a mental illness can be. Without the support of people on here, my wonderful family and an excellent GP (if yours isn't excellent, I urge you to find one who is - they are out there!) I couldn't have got where I am now.

Good luck to all and here's hoping coming of my tablets won't turn me into a loony!

FABULOUS to here form you and to hear that you are doing so well!

I too have PCOS and it sounds much worse than it is, it only affected me when i tried to conceive but even then I managed it.

I am so pleased you are doing well and hope you will still keep in touch? We will always be here mate xxx
