any advice/help for coming off lithium

Hi,

I have been on 2 x 250mg lithium morning and night for 2 years to boost my anti depressant following Puerperal Psychosis. I have gradually come off all mymeds but remain on lithium with the plan to come off it in the new year.

From looking on the internet it seems a tricky drug to come off any suggestions/advice would be appreciated.

I dont have any experience with lithium but I think it is in one of my drugs books for my psychiatric nursing so I wll dig it out this afternoon and see if I can find anything helpful in there.

Hopefully someone else on here might have experienced it??
