Right so, here we go.
4 years ago i weighed 15 1/2 stone and went on a mission to lose weight. Joined a gym, started kickboxing which i loved and managed to lose 3 stone and was quite happy at 12 1/2. Although i was still a stone over a healthy BMI i didn't give a shit, i was a size 16 and at 5'7 was quite happy with that as i've always been quite broad but with lumps and bumps in all the right places. I had toned arms, legs, bum, had quite a nice body in fairness and completely loved myself LOL.
Then i gained about a stone when i went on a major bender that lasted for about a year, drinking all the time made me gain weight. Then i got pregnant so obviously the alcohol stopped but the weight gain continued but i was pleased that when i was pregnant i managed to only gain 1 stone 13 pound. Violet was 9lb 8oz and with water etc i only had half a stone to lose.
However, PNI took it's toll and teamed with boredom and driving everywhere i managed to gain 2 1/2 stone so at 16 1/2 stone i was the heaviest i had ever been.
When i moved back to the midlands, i've gone on a complete mission, rejoined the gym i used to be with and i've lost 7 lb but i struggle with the food side of things... i love chocolate too much.
We'll see what this week brings xxxx

Welcome Beckah to the weight loss diaries! You did really well before losing all that weight, I'm sure you'll do it again. It's good that you didn't gain much weight while pregnant, neither did I. Mine's all down to horrid drugs for PP, but hey I have to remember they got me well again.
WG, my weight watcher official weigh in day is Monday so I'm all for that being our joint weigh in day too.

Hi Bekah,
Welcome to the weight loss gang!! It's good to have a diary as for me it gives me an incentive to do well because I have to let all of the other weight lossers know how I've done. Also it's nice to read other peoples' stories to help you along.
Good Luck x

Hi ladies
I'm rubbish at coming online.. sorry guys. Well, weigh in didn't go so well. Put 3 pound on but with the trip to scotland, wedding, food on the go etc i'm not surprised. Did legs bums and tums and a swim last night and doing aqua aerobics and spin tonight so no doubt will be hobbling like a pensioner tomorrow but am determined to get that 3 pound off again.
Breakfast today- bowl of granola and half a banana xxxxxxxxx

No shit mate, actually thought i might pass out by the end of spin class! I'm so unfit compared with what i used to be.
I went to the doctors last night for an asthma check with the nurse and asked to use their scales as mine are rubbish and since i moved back and joined the doctors i have lost 8.8 pounds according to their records so to be honest i'm quite pleased considering i have been to the wedding etc. It has made me feel alot better and when talking to the nurse she mentioned those xenical (orlstat) tablets to me. Obviously am nervous about side effects, as always but mght give them a try as they should assist me and keep me on the straight and narrow as the side effects if i eat fatty food are not nice lol. One word... leakage lol!
So i've got my prescription. Bit of a cheat but to be fair i still have to put the effort in! Just wanna use them as a kick start as if i don't see results immediately i get disheartened so these should help with that.
Will let you know how i get on with them xxxx

Well they used to be prescription only but they recently bought a version out that you can buy over the counter but they're mega expensive and not as strong as the prescription ones. I think you have to be a huge heffer like me to get them on prescription though! LOL
Anyway, they basically stop your body from absorbing the fat in your food which... here comes the minging bit... makes your poo looser and oily so in effect if you eat fatty food it makes you leak from areas you wouldn't want to LOL. But, if you behave and eat good food then the side effects in that sense are minimal. So i'm going to give it a go and see what happens! Wish me luck and no leakage LOL.

Hi Beckah. I'm so glad I hae just read the start of this diary as I was thinking about doing one of my own but was convinced I was the biggest person on here so had talked myself out of it. Dispite the fact you are 5 inches taller than me, We have the same starting weight so thank you. I'm off now to start mine.
