Thought I'll give this ago as need support desperately. had my baby in Oct and after losing the baby weight very easily it's has started piling on over the past few months. I think being very tired and stressed (3 kids!!!) and bit bored I guess, I pick non stop, crave sweet stuff and comfort eat.
A month ago I went on one of those scales that calculates your weight, height, fat index and bmi - it was horrific!!! Since then ii've made sporadic effort to do something about it but it's not working.
here is goes:-
weight - 11st 5lb (72.1kg) height - 5ft 3.4" (1.61m) bmi - 27.8 fat index 42.1% (horrific)
So the plan is - do some walking, don't snack as much and try do swimming or anything vaguely aerobic. Watch this space!

Hey, Monica. Good on you for doing something about your weight. Weight watchers has really worked well for me. You're about the same height as me, and I started out with a BMI of 30 at 12st. I've nearly lost 1 1/2 stone, so 2 stone to go. It's good to keep a diary and encourage one another. Are you on any meds for PNI that will make losing weight difficult? Mine were what made me gain weight in the first place and I coudln't lose anything till I was off them. Good luck!

No not on any meds so have no excuse. I do pick at home alot. Am at my parents and usually it is full with cakes and chocolate but not at the minute so that helps.
Have done my knee in - so really trying to control what I eat and seems to be working. Dont' think I dare get on those scales tho!

Blimey haven't been on here in ages!
Anyway, have lost a bit of weight and started to exercise more. A few people have commented I've lost a bit of my face however, when i got on my home scales it still showed 11 1/2 stone!
Typically I cancelled my gym, swim, class membership as it would have been cheaper to be PAYG, then started going with my brother, so have reinstated it. I'm not really a gym person as I get bored easily but I won't go more than once or twice a week so even half an hour makes a difference.
I've done a 30 min spin class and turned up for another one which has been cancelled but discovered they have spin bikes in this secluded spot of the gym and a workout card so did half an hour and was knackered. really pushed it and got the heart racing.
have been eating loads tho'. It was my lo's 1st bday and went over the top on food and have been pigging out since. Must cut back!
Wg - dont' want to weigh in a weekly basis as it would be too traumatic!

WEll things gone to pot - I did lose a bit back at the end of Oct/beginning Nov - but it's all gone wrong. Firstly, I've had an op on my varicose veins so been limited on the exercise front but not on the eating front! Also we had our bathroom done over a three week period so I was using the gym to shower and whilst there I would do a bit of exercise. anyway bathroom's finished so no need to go!
But I did go to a spin class yesterday and really pushed it. Have also been trying to cut back on food for the past two day and not been bad at all.xxx

Xmas indulgence!
I have put on so much weight - can't stop eating.
however, went to gym yesterday. did:-
10 mins running machine 10 mins on really hard cross trainer 15 mins bike few weights
didn't dare weigh myself

Have been to gym about three times this week and definately feel better for it and more toned. Things not so good on the food front. wAs quite restrained yesterday but that was because I wasn't feeling too good.
Might weigh myself next time!

well done on kicking ass at the gym! I start back this week and am NOT looking forward to it LOL. Maybe start your weigh in next monday? I might do the same (not brave enough to do it today - lol)
